■We are Courrier, an Austin-based quartet and we've been around for about 3 years now, trying to make our mark on the alternative/indie rock scene.
■We want to create music that is both artful and significant, which is why we write songs about the stuff we connect with most: pain, love, life, death, faith, and combinations of the like. We hope that if it's meaningful to us, it will be meaningful to you.
■We wrote and recorded an album called A Violent Flame, and honestly, we think that if you give it a listen, you might like it very much. See for yourself.
■We love playing live shows. We understand it isn't just a re-creation of what you hear on your iPod, it's an experience. We do our best to make it an unforgettable one.
■We want you to become fans, so that we can share our art with you. That can be difficult for musicians trying to make a living these days. So we propose a deal: we'll give you our EP for free so that you can become a fan. If you like it, we ask you to buy our album, because we think it's the best music we've ever made.
