Stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson did not disappoint the many fans who'd camped out days in advance of Monday night's premiere of the highly anticipated film, "The Hunger Games," hoping to catch a glimpse of the stars as they graced the red carpet.
Lawrence, in particular, showed star power as she walked the arrival line as fans screamed her name.
The Oscar nominated actress plays the role of Katniss Everdeen in the "The Hunger Games," which is based on the successful teen book of the same name by best selling author Suzanne Collins.
The film's Josh Hutcherson, believes the popularity of the book has created a built-in audience for the film.

"The Hunger Games" details a world where the evil Capitol of which was once North America, forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games. A twisted punishment for a past uprising and an ongoing government intimidation tactic, The Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which "Tributes" must fight with one another until one survivor remains.
The film will hit theaters on March 23.
