Pakistani police run to take positions as their station comes under attack from militants.
The battle for the police station in the northwestern town of Bannu lasted three hours.
Authorities arrested one attacker as the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan militant group claimed responsibility.
Officials said the raid left four other gunmen dead - two of them from suicide bombs they had strapped to their chests.
Militants have carried out a series of recent attacks on police and other security buildings in Pakistan.
