These are the headquarters of South Korean electronics giant Samsung.
A U.S. court has just ordered the company to pay arch-rival Apple over $1 billion for copying key features on the iPhone and iPad.
That has brought a stern rebuke from people here in Seoul, who said the verdict smacked of protectionism.
"The US had been generous to multinational companies," said this man. "But now the country is giving weight to its own national interest."
Samsung - which has seen its market share soar in recent months - called the ruling a "loss for the American consumer."
The company has several options open for appeal.
Apple and Samnsung are embroiled in a series of patent lawsuits across the globe as they jockey for position in the lucrative tablet and smart phone markets.
