After just over two weeks in power, the leader of Mali's military coup has agreed to step down.
 
A deal has been negotiated by the West African bloc of nations ECOWAS to return the country to civilian rule.
 
But it's not the end of Mali's crisis.
 
It has to deal with a rebellion in the north, where Tuareg fighters have declared independence.
 
Al Jazeera's Hashem Ahelbarra reports from the capital Bamako.
