The mystery is over - the baby panda born five weeks ago at the San Diego Zoo is a boy.
The baby bear underwent his third examination on Thursday, and staff were able to determine his gender for the first time.
Veterinarians carefully measured his belly and indicated that he's eating well, weighing in at 3.2 pounds.
But zoo officials won't name the cub until he's 100 days old, following ancient Chinese tradition.
The zoo plans on reaching out to the public for help naming the baby boy.
