STORY: For spring 2013 Victoria Beckham put a sheer twist on her iconic sheath dress.
The singer turned designer showcased her new collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York on Sunday (September 9). The line featured a mix of the structured looks she has become known for and skirts and dresses with flair.
The color story featured blacks, ivory and white, with splashes of orange sprinkled throughout the line. Mesh cuts on dresses and shirts were done conservatively, allowing even body conscious women to take advantage of the trend.
And of course it wouldn't be a Victoria Beckham collection without exposed zippers on the back of shirts and dresses, a staple of the brand.
At the conclusion of the show, a shy Beckham hit the runway to accept her applause.
Fashion week in New York will end on September 13.
