00:06Today we're looking at Green Goblin.
00:21Now the one good thing about Green Goblin, yes he wasn't in Spider-Man 3,
00:25well his mask kind of was if you want to look at it that way.
00:29The one thing that's good at least about this line of figures is had you missed out your chance to
00:35get said Green Goblin,
00:37or actually Doc Ock, you could at least pick him up in this line.
00:44As you can see there's pictures of Green Goblin down the side here.
00:49A lot of people didn't like the look of Green Goblin.
00:55Collect all eight figures to build Sandman.
01:00On the back of the package, the other figures in this way, we've got Mary Jane, we've got Green Goblin,

01:07Green Goblin, Spider-Man, Sandman, Black Suited Spider-Man, and Venom.
01:12You can collect all eight figures.
01:15I don't know if I would suggest it, but you can collect all eight figures and build this exquisite
01:21piece of sculpt that we'd like to call Sandman.
01:30The read-up on Green Goblin says Norman Osborn loves his work.
01:35It just so happens that a lot of his work lately has involved stealing things and mass destruction.
01:42Alright, let's just stop it there for a second.
01:44I don't know if they're trying to throw humor into it.
01:48You know, hey guys, I'm here all night.
01:51Don't forget to tip your waitress.
01:54But, just, why they couldn't have just given us a simple read-up, I don't know.
01:59He's always looked down on people, but now that he's the Green Goblin,
02:03he realizes how small all those people really are.
02:06Because he's always on his glider.
02:08I threw that last bit in.
02:11Now, with his enhanced intelligence and strength, he's a giant in a world of tiny, mediocre people.
02:17The only other man he's met who's at all worthy of his respect is Spider-Man.
02:22He'll make the web-slinger see the error of his ways, and if he can't,
02:27well, there's more than one way to squish a spider.
02:29And that's with his missiles.
02:32I also threw that in there as well.
02:34So, I'm just trying to keep the pace of this read-up here.
02:39Real name, Norman Osborn.
02:40Occupation, industrialist and scientist.
02:43Power, super strength, super speed.
02:45Enhanced reflexes.
02:46Weapons, pumpkin bombs, and trident.
02:50Vehicle, experimental glider.
02:52Power source, green gas.
02:55At least it stays somewhat consistent with a biography.
03:01Didn't throw other stuff in there.
03:05There you go.
03:06There's packaging on Green Goblin.
03:09What we'll do is we'll get this opened up, and we will have a better look at Green Goblin.
03:13We will also add yet another piece to Sandman.

03:22And before we actually look at Green Goblin, the piece that Green Goblin comes with is yet another unknown part
03:29of Sandman.
03:31And had you actually just looked at the picture, you probably would know and figure out that he does come
03:35with what looks to be the right leg of Sandman.
03:38You can take the right foot of Sandman and line it up here ever so crudely.
03:46And now we have the right leg, the left leg of Sandman.
03:53Again, you can't connect the two, so that's basically what we got so far for Sandman.
04:01So, we'll move those out of the way.
04:04Oh, I can see this is getting better and better with each video.
04:07And let's have a look at Green Goblin.
04:13I think I commented this during the Spider-Man review, and I'm going to say this in this review, too.
04:18I really wish I had the original Green Goblin.
04:20I know I have him packed away somewhere, but I wish for the sake of this review, I had him
04:26out, so I could actually give you guys a comparison between the two.
04:30Something seems off on this Green Goblin, and for the life of me, I can't put my finger on it.
04:37But I'm thinking, if I was to put the two together, this one would seem to be the much cheaper
04:43looking version of the figure.
04:46I don't know, I just remember the initial Green Goblin from the first movie line of figures just seemed to
04:53have a lot more oomph to him.
04:57I mean, this one feels a little cheap, feels a little flimsy.
05:01And also, he's got that weird ball joint, loose torso piece that Spider-Man had.
05:11I don't know why. I don't know what they were thinking with it, but it doesn't work.
05:16It just honestly feels like this piece is going to break right off.
05:21I think aside from that, though, I think it is the same sculpt and the same body.
05:28But it just feels cheap. It does really feel cheap.
05:33His articulation, he has a ball-jointed head, which actually is, there is a lot of movement in the head.
05:44You can also rotate the neck, although the fact that you can move the head as much as you can,
05:49I don't know why they would have made the neck so ball-jointed as well.
05:53He also has a ball-jointed shoulder. You can rotate at the bicep. You can bend the arm.
06:01You can bend the arm.
06:04You can bend the hand. And forefingers also bend as well.
06:12It also looks like, does it not look like he's got a separate piece here as well?
06:18Oh, he does. There we go.
06:20For some reason, he's also got a swivel here.
06:24I guess it's so that you can turn his hand, but I don't even think it's needed.
06:28He's got this terrible joint here, which I...
06:32Whoever thought of this...
06:36Dude, you should be ashamed of yourself.
06:38He's got a mid-torso...
06:39Or he's got a waist swivel.
06:42The legs can bend back and forth in and out.
06:44So, you can rotate the thigh.
06:46You can bend the knee at two points.
06:49Rotate the calf.
06:50You can bend the foot.
06:51And you can bend the toe.
06:58Now, Green Goblin also does come with his glider.
07:01Which, again, I don't know if it's the exact same glider
07:06as the one that came with the Spider-Man 1 Green Goblin.
07:10But it does feel cheap.
07:12I mean, it doesn't quite feel right.
07:15Very similar to the Green Goblin.
07:18You can, as you can see, you can bend the glider to have it lower.
07:23You can also bring it right up as well.
07:27Now, Green Goblin can peg into the glider via holes in his feet here.
07:39And bend the legs there.
07:41Gets something going on with him.
07:45And there you have Green Goblin.
07:49I don't think...
07:50No, it isn't...
07:51Now that I think about it, I don't think it is the same glider.
07:56The reason why is because I think these were larger
07:59because you could actually...
08:00I think they held pumpkin bombs inside.
08:02You could actually get out.
08:03Whereas these pumpkin bombs are fixed in there.
08:08So maybe it isn't the same glider.
08:11But it does feel cheap, though.
08:13It does feel...
08:14It doesn't feel substantial like the original movie figures did.
08:20I mean, certainly, if you can't yourself find the original movie figures,
08:28or if you find them and they're quite expensive,
08:31certainly this is the next best thing.
08:37I mean, certainly finding these particular figures on eBay,
08:40or at your local toy conventions, or what have you,
08:45you probably will pick these up...
08:46I can't see picking up Green Goblin for anything more than $5.

08:51I mean, any of these figures I can't see being any more than $5.
08:56But...
08:58It's still a bit...
08:59It's a good opportunity.
09:00If you didn't get the Green Goblin the first time around,
09:03you can go back and get him again.
09:05And he is still in scale with the other Spider-Man figures.
09:09So while you don't necessarily like the original costume Spider-Man from this line,
09:13if you have the original Spider-Man from the first movie line,
09:17or even the second,
09:18this is a good Green Goblin to add to your collection.
09:22This Green Goblin, I'm going to give a 7 to.
09:25Again, it doesn't feel as good.
09:28It doesn't feel as substantial as the original Goblin did.
09:32But as a next best thing, I guess it's not too, too bad.
