00:23on today's toy spot we're going to be having a look at the Palisades series one Ren and Snippy
00:28mr. horse mr. horse comes to us with snap-on sport coat and arms rubber nipple fetish add-on parts
00:38and figure bass featuring singing log from blammo there you go if we have a look on the back of
00:45the packaging the other figures in this wave are the shaven yak the mr. horse ren hoke and stimpy there
00:52was also a wizard world chicago 2004 fire dogs set
01:00which which is nice because it wasn't actually just a straight repaint the this Ren and this stimpy although the
01:08bodies were the same aside from the retooled jackets they had different faces which was nice so wish I had
01:17picked them up I haven't picked them up yet if I happen to find them though I definitely will do
01:22reviews of those guys as well
01:24but I absolutely love this set it's a great awesome set let's get this mr. horse opened up and let's
01:33get a closer look at the figure stay tuned
01:37and so here we have mr. horse out of his packaging a really really nice figure once again due to
01:43my backdrop I unfortunately can't have him freestanding as you can see he doesn't really want to stand all that
01:51well so I have to put him on his base
01:53at least for the purpose of this review really really nice detailing on mr. horse for those who don't know
02:01or haven't watched the Ren and Stimpy show once again I say
02:05you second me
02:08but mr. horse is I think and I'm working from memory here but I'm pretty sure mr. horse I think
02:15his
02:15his first appearance was in the gritty kitty litter
02:20episode
02:21and Stimpy was trying to sell gritty kitty litter in a grocery store
02:25and mr. horse walked by and he said excuse me sir and he's like yes yes
02:30he says would you be willing to try gritty kitty litter
02:36in front of the camera or something like that
02:38and mr. horse puts it in his mouth and starts chewing it
02:42and he shifts it around in his mouth and then
02:45his eyes kind of bug out and he goes
02:48no sir
02:49I don't like it
02:51and as far as I know I think that was the first appearance of mr. horse
02:55now in the way of the figure itself
02:57the surprisingly there is a lot of articulation like there's articulation in the head
03:03and he has articulations in the shoulders
03:07and you'll notice that the arms are falling out there's a reason for it I'll get into that in a
03:10second
03:10but he has articulation in the elbows and also in the wrists as you can see
03:17he has also articulation in the waist
03:20I'll take him off the base for a second
03:21he has articulation in the waist in the legs
03:26and also his tail can move as well
03:29now the reason for his arms being
03:33for falling out the way that they are
03:35there's a reason for it
03:37and it's because of his accessories I'll move these back for a second
03:41the accessories that mr. horse comes with
03:43maybe I'll put him back in the base just for now
03:50like that
03:51the accessories mr. horse comes with
03:54is he comes with
03:56a rubber bottom
04:00like that
04:02he also comes with a business suit
04:04actually before I get into this I'll talk about the business suit
04:06he comes with a business suit which
04:09he wore in a couple of episodes
04:11as you can see though
04:14it's two halves
04:15you put it together
04:19and you have him in his
04:22in his suit
04:25the reason why these arms are a little loose the way they are
04:29is just because of the fact that
04:31in order to get this suit on you have to pry these pieces off and you have to
04:36yank his arms out
04:38and I first thought if you own like marvel legends and stuff you really don't like messing too much with
04:44ball joints because they tend to break
04:47it gave no instructions actually inside the package
04:51as to how to get this suit on
04:53in fact on the back of the packaging it says for instructions are assembly instructions check out our website
05:00well I actually went to their website and they actually don't mention anything about ren and snippy being one of
05:06their product lines or
05:08or and they don't have a section for assembly
05:12so your sol if you're looking for assembly instructions on this it was only out of
05:20it was only out of chance that I happen to pull the arm
05:24and I thought okay you have to pull the arms off and I'm thinking oh what if there's another way
05:28and I break this arm off but
05:29no the arms actually come out that's the only reason why I kept it loose was to force them back
05:34in
05:35I probably wouldn't have been able to get them out for this review but the idea is you can snap
05:39on his business suit
05:41I might actually have to move his head up a bit there snap on his business suit
05:46and take the other half here
05:50snap it into place
05:56there you go
05:57and there you have mr. horse in his suit
06:00now he does have articulation in the arms
06:03but because the arms are part of his suit
06:05they really didn't give you much articulation in the
06:07elbows or anything like that
06:11no sir I don't like it
06:14that's probably actually if anything the way I'll have mr. horse displayed
06:17is because he's always really prim and proper in the cartoon
06:22the only time he isn't and actually the other accessory he comes with if I can find it here
06:27he comes with a hat
06:30and the idea is you can take his ears and you can pull them off
06:34there's a little hole there and there's a little peg on his head
06:38and you can take the hat
06:42and make sure I got the right way here
06:45you can actually give him his hat
06:49and I'm thinking this hat is when he
06:52when he was wearing the rubber nipples
06:55I think
06:55I don't think it was an actual hat when he was going out on the town
06:59but speaking of rubber nipples
07:01take these pieces off
07:04now that I've shown you the suit
07:06I'll put these arms in a little bit better than what they were
07:13there we go
07:15he also does come with
07:18some rubber nipple accessories
07:20this was in the episode where Ren and Stimpy were trying to make money and they became
07:25rubber nipple door-to-door salesmen
07:27and they ended up going up to Mr. Horse's house
07:32and he says yes, yes
07:35and they're selling rubber nipples
07:37and he goes
07:38wow!
07:39wait until I tell the missus
07:41and he ends up buying I think a whole ton of rubber nipple stuff
07:48as I try to get this on here
07:52he ends up buying a whole ton of rubber nipples
07:54and when he comes back out
07:56or I think when he's all decked up
07:58he
08:00he's got these on his legs
08:03he's got
08:03rubber nipples on his hands
08:06or rubber nipple appliances
08:08and he's also got this lower
08:12shorts
08:13I guess these rubber shorts
08:15now unfortunately
08:16being that I couldn't find the instructions for it
08:19while I was able to figure out how to get the suit on
08:21as you can see
08:22he's got a hole in the bottom for his tail
08:24and he's got holes in the bottom for his legs
08:27but
08:28getting it on though
08:31I could probably spend the next little while trying to get this on
08:34but
08:35it's not something I think that's going to go on very easily
08:37I'm still trying to figure out how to get the tail on
08:40not unless you've got to pull the tail out
08:44maybe that's how you have to do it
08:45you pull the tail out
08:46you get these on
08:49I tell you one good thing is at least these are rubber
08:51because they're pliable
08:53I won't do it now in this video
08:55but just to give you guys an idea
08:57I mean he does come with
08:59a load of accessories
09:01a load of accessories
09:02now whether some
09:04accessories like these gloves and stuff
09:05will be a little harder to get on
09:09unless these go on his
09:10you know I think they go on his feet
09:12but
09:14because you know
09:15can you see the problem here

09:20so again I won't do it in this video
09:24but just to show you guys that
09:25he does come with a good array of accessories
09:29his other accessory
09:30includes a singing log
09:35and on the back of the packaging
09:37it actually makes no reference of a singing log in this set
09:40I don't know if the figures came with variations of these logs
09:45like not maybe not every Mr. Horse comes with a singing log
09:48he might have been packed differently
09:51this might be a variant
09:52I really honestly don't know
09:54but nice again to have a log come with the figure
09:58I won't open it up
09:59just because it's just a sculpted log essentially
10:02but really nice again that they came
10:04they included that with the figure
10:06overall really really nice
10:07I like the Mr. Horse
10:09definitely it's going to be something that I'm going to have to tweak
10:12and play around with to get all these accessories on them
10:15I like the fact that they did give them the rubber
10:18rubber nipple accessories
10:20but overall really really nice figure guys
10:22if you're a Ren and Stimpy fan
10:24and especially if you're a Mr. Horse fan
10:26definitely pick this guy up
10:28even I mean the likeness alone
10:30I think is really neat on the figure
