00:54the sunset really really nice menacing looking imagery though I mean I like the him holding the
01:00chainsaw as he's walking off there nice picture of leatherface down below there
01:12on the back of the packaging oh got a little piece of tape there on the back of the packaging
01:16the other figures in the wave aside from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre we have two incarnations
01:23of Saw one from Saw 2 one from Saw 3 this would be what is it Amanda was the assistant
01:33the apprentice I think and then we have Jigsaw himself and then down below we also have Sean
01:39of the Dead his buddy from Sean if I'm the movie Sean of the Dead a bit of a read

02:24opened up let's get a closer look at Leatherface nice detailing from the movie if you haven't seen
02:33Texas Chainsaw Massacre the beginning or you haven't seen the remake I would say give it a chance
02:38some people prefer the originals more I like the originals but I thought the remake was done pretty
02:44good I like the camera work I thought the camera work was nice I thought the grittiness of the movie
02:51had a good feel for it like it had a good good tone and I thought the the guy that
02:58they picked for
02:58Leatherface did a pretty good job definitely looked menacing that's for sure in Texas Chainsaw Massacre
03:07the beginning would actually tell the story in the events leading up to the very first movie or the
03:14the remake movie so we get to see the reasoning why Thomas Hewitt went with the mask the Leatherface
03:21mask the story but be you know behind why old Monty has no legs why Sheriff Hewitt Sheriff Hoyt there
03:32we go
03:32Sheriff Hoyt why he became a sheriff why he didn't have the same name as the rest of the Hewitt
03:39family
03:40and so on I mean it was a good good story I thought both movies were done well and you
03:46know they're very
03:47contained I mean it there's no indication that there really needs to be a sequel and it was just those
03:53two movies on their own and I thought the movies were good looking though at the figure itself a lot
03:58of detailing was put in the face now again this is this is Thomas Hewitt before he gets the full
04:05-blown mask
04:05so a bit of a spoiler for no one for somebody who hasn't seen the movie the the remake Thomas
04:12Hewitt actually
04:13has a flesh-eating disease so he has no nose and I think some of his face is decayed so
04:20he ends up wearing
04:21this this mouth guard I thought the mouth guard looked kind of cool not I'm not that it really did
04:26but it a little bit kind of reminded me of a character from Mortal Kombat just with the little
04:31mouth guard there I know that's a bad reference for a Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie but a lot of
04:37detailing in the shirt you get the nice striped shirt with the tie and as you can see he's wearing
04:44his
04:44apron his nice dirty apron now unlike the the NECA was it the NECA no the Mezco remake Thomas Hewitt
04:59leatherface they actually had a separate apron the apron could be removed in in the case with NECA
05:05though this piece is molded to the shirt and then it's just the bottom apron part that is a separate
05:13piece as you can see though lots of detailing in the in the pants you see all the wrinkles and
05:19everything else in the shirt a lot of detailing in the hair there nice job on the hands too you
05:26got a nice blood on his hands it's not a it I think it's a more accurate blood you can
05:32see like this is
05:32more of a blood where he would have wiped it off and it would have still stained his his hands
05:36it's a
05:37lot darker blood it's not like just a like a bright red which which blood I mean doesn't go
05:43bright red I mean blood's more like a murky kind of color so that's nice now he comes with a
05:51couple of accessories actually comes with a fair number of accessories one of the accessories being
05:56that you can actually take off his head you take off his head and you can swap his head in
06:04with the
06:07first leather face mask there you go real gruesome scene where he first acquires this mask but I I
06:19like I really like the the masks in the remake movie more than the original movie in the original
06:25chainsaw maskers it it didn't really look like leather whereas the the remakes I think did a really
06:31good job of it but he gets the alternate mask something else he gets to is he has an alternative
06:38hand and the idea is you can take off I guess it is this arm is it this arm yeah
06:46it should be this arm
06:49but the idea is you should be able to take his arm off just do that get off camera here
06:56for a second
06:56there we go you just pull his arm off and you can swap in his other arm and I guess
07:05with this arm you
07:06can hit hold the mallet if you wanted to he does come with a mallet like that he also does
07:15come with a
07:15cleaver a lot of gruesome things he comes with does come with a very nice cleaver nicely detailed and he
07:24also does come with a hook and I think you know what I think the other hand was the the
07:30hand for
07:30the hook but he does also come with a hook I'll maybe put his other arm on so you guys
07:35can see here
07:39also goes come with a hook
07:45do do do do do get the hook in here
07:51I will also point out too I they did a good job on making the hook look rusted
07:57I mean it's not just a straight paint job that they did on the hook it actually looks like a
08:03rusted hook
08:06but essentially he would hold his hook as well
08:08and then the characteristic part of leather face he also comes with his chainsaw
08:15which you can put in his hand too
08:19I guess it yeah I guess it still would be this hand wouldn't it
08:25the problem why it's a little hard to get some of these accessories in is that his hand
08:31which I don't know if the camera is going to catch but his hand actually is rubbery like his fingers
08:35so you kind of have to pry them open to hold the the weapons like the the said chainsaw here
08:43overall though I mean really really nice figure he also does come with a nice display
08:50you can actually make out his footprints there
08:53and we'll actually just put him in the display here so you guys can see it

09:03all in all really really nice figure guys I'll take the head off so I can just put it back
09:08to the way it was
09:14a lot of fussing with this video
09:16but there you go really really nice figure
09:18if you're a Texas Chainsaw Massacre fan
09:22and you especially like the remake
09:24I would definitely say pick up this figure it's a really really nicely detailed figure
09:29and it's a good interpretation I think of how Thomas Hewitt looked in the first
09:35in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre beginning movie
09:40definitely would recommend it though
