00:33I won't do it just yet no sense in spoiling the review right because there's something I have to
00:38leave something much like Christmas we have to leave something for you guys to be look forward
00:42to seeing we got a picture of frosty down below there this was picked up through toys r us I

00:51actually pick up through toys to toys r us I picked up through ebay I don't remember how much I

00:55for it on the back the two figures I guess the two deluxe figures from the frosty line of figures
01:06is we've got belly whopper frosty it's got a colorful PVC figurine of frosty's young friend is in for the
01:16ride of her life bouncing out frosting magically bounces on a steep snow mound watch him bobble
01:23press the flowers on the base to hear a phrase from the classic holiday song frosty the snowman
01:29the other one is of course magical frosty frosty utters his first words when he comes to life just
01:34like in the classic show a removable magic hack brings frosty to life watch his eyes turn from
01:40black coal to sparkling cartoon eyes corny and lovable frosty can hold his corncob pipe and features a real
01:48cloth scarf and snowman of action jointed shoulders neck and legs allow figure to be displayed in a

02:29at frosty frosty's accessories before we get into frosty himself he does come with a broom
02:41very you know it's nice you know it's pretty nicely sculpted
02:48frosty can hold it as well i'll get into that in a second
02:50um he also does come with his his pipe corncob pipe
03:02and finally frosty also comes with his hat his magic hat and there all the magic actually relies
03:09in the bottom here which is actually a magnet
03:15all right so we got the accessories aside let's have a look at frosty
03:19there's one problem with this frosty i'll certainly get into it in a second
03:24um depending on when you're watching this review the frosty itself might look a little familiar to
03:29you that's only because if i bring him in the smaller frosty from the figure assortment
03:37it's actually the exact same mold it's the exact same mold same hands same head
03:43he's got the same hole in his mouth where his pipe will eventually go
03:47and he certainly has the exact same scarf
03:51so you have this frosty
03:54you're going to be pretty much getting the same frosty aside from the the uh the magicness of
04:00this frosty you are going to get the exact same frosty
04:03now you remember this frosty had a magic hat stick that on there
04:08and it was magnet
04:10move him aside here frosty has the exact same thing with the larger frosty as well
04:16um the thing is though as you can see i think you can see here his eyes are black
04:25two eyes made of coal you know the story everybody knows the story of frosty
04:30the same hat the same hat as the smaller one also has the magnet
04:37and the idea once you take the magic hat and put it on said frosty
04:44look watch his eyes watch the magic

05:08you'll see so far see already one problem with this figure
05:20the idea is when you put the same kind of magnet hat as the smaller one but if you put
05:27it on the larger frosty
05:28it actually raises it flips the eyes back
05:32and it shows the cartoon eyes
05:36the thing is though it doesn't sit that frosty's hat sits on his head pretty good
05:41no problems there you put it on this frosty though
05:48and i don't know if it's just the fact that the head is more smooth than that frosty
05:55or the fact that the hat is heavier but it doesn't want to sit on him properly
06:01you end up with a frosty with his hat forward that doesn't make any sense
06:09see it doesn't want to stand it doesn't want to sit on it
06:14you can have it sideways i guess but see it just it just keeps falling off
06:19um the other real problem with this frosty and it it's so sad
06:23is the fact that you don't actually need this hat to operate the feature
06:29um if i for example
06:32put down the cat she was coming up there for a second
06:35um the frosty for example is all just mechanisms in here
06:39so if you you can flick the figure
06:43and it does the exact same thing it doesn't actually need this hat to do it
06:49it's nice because you can see the eyes
06:52but you get the exact same feature
06:55what's funny now that i've shown you the features
06:58what's funny is when i got this figure in the mail
07:01i kid you not when i got it in the mail
07:03and i went to the post office and the guy put the package down
07:05as soon as he put it down
07:08this is what i heard in the package
07:16um there is no there's no switch
07:22there's no switch at all on this frosty
07:24so i can only imagine for all the traveling this frosty took from where i
07:29bought it from to where it eventually arrived
07:32how many times this actually was going off
07:34i'm surprised the batteries were still working
07:36on this frosty
07:39um
07:40so it's disappointing that he doesn't hold the hat very well
07:43and it's so disappointing that
07:45if you pack this away
07:47might might want to take the batteries out
07:49because if you don't
07:50this is going to be going off all the time
07:52and if it if it falls in the box while you're sleeping
07:56you're going to probably wake up and think what the what's going on
07:59where's that noise coming from it's only frosty
08:01it is only frosty
08:03um in the way of his articulation
08:06frosty's head can still move
08:08although it doesn't move it only moves to the one side
08:12i don't know why it doesn't seem to want to move the other way
08:16and i'm probably just going to leave it
08:17that's a good indicator just to leave it
08:19uh his arms do bend out
08:22they rotate
08:24you can certainly move the hands as well
08:28his feet
08:29are on little tracks that you can move the legs forward
08:33you can move them back
08:37and as mentioned i'll take his corncob pipe
08:43and you should be able to put it in his hand
08:49uh
08:50or you can certainly put it in his mouth
08:52probably makes more sense i think to put it in his mouth
08:56let me put his broom in his hand
09:01he actually holds the broom
09:03from what i'm seeing so far
09:05he holds it a lot better than the smaller frosty
09:08smaller frosty it just fell out
09:10the only thing he doesn't hold well again is his hat
09:13which is the real shame
09:16um i would say this is probably really a pass
09:19you can really you can get really just as much
09:22out of this smaller frosty
09:24than you can with a larger frosty
09:27gimmick is neat enough
09:29but the fact he doesn't hold his hat
09:30the hat just slides off his head
09:32and the fact that
09:34just the slight twitch
09:36you can get this thing going on its own
09:38really needed an off switch on this thing
09:42today's christmas spot
09:43we were looking at the magical frosty
09:46it's not really magic
09:47it's more or less just some levers
09:49and some magnets
09:50but
09:51some magic could have certainly been used
09:54to keep the blasted hat on his head
10:00and i really see the problem now
10:02it's his eyes
10:04the lever in his eyes
10:06are magnetic that work with the hat
10:09when the eyes go down
10:11the weight of the eyes
10:12is what's sliding the hat down
10:15it doesn't actually want
10:16i said my first words
10:18yeah because as soon as the eyes drop
10:19the hat drops as well
10:22so some
10:22bad decision making
10:25some bad construction
10:26on what could have been a really good idea
10:30and that pains me to say it
10:32but you could probably pass on this frosty right here
