00:00On today's toy spot, we're going to be looking at the Iron Man 2 Walmart exclusive 6-inch War Machine.
00:25Now, War Machine seems to be the chase figure from this series.
00:30And I don't know how many of these figures are per case.
00:34I'm almost thinking it's one per case.
00:37Of all the figures I think released through the 6-inch wave, Iron Man, good luck finding.
00:44It just so happened when I went to the Walmart the first time I ran and I saw these guys,
00:48I went through the pegs, and there was only, unfortunately, two pegs of these figures.
00:53When I went through them, I stumbled across one War Machine.
00:57And again, it might be just because it's a chase figure.
01:00It might also be because he's a fan favorite of this set and everybody was picking him up.
01:05But very lucky to have found him.
01:08Got him home, thought the figure looked awesome, and later on went back, picked up the Iron Man Mark 6,
01:15and also the Iron Man Mark 5.
01:18But this definitely is the figure that started my interest in getting these figures.
01:22And I was really looking forward to getting, I was really looking forward, first of all,
01:26that they were going to release a 6-inch variety.
01:28Because, again, I'm still not warmed up to the 3-1-4-inch, 3-1-1-2-inch.
01:33But War Machine features snap-on weapons.
01:37On the back of the package, the other figures in this wave, we have Iron Man Mark 1.
01:42We have Iron Man Mark 4.
01:45We'll have War Machine, and we have Iron Man Deep Dive Armor.
01:49Not featured anywhere on the packaging is the Iron Man Mark 6.
01:54I don't know where he falls into place, whether he's a variant to the Mark 4.
02:00But even on the back of the Mark 6, you remember seeing the review of it,
02:04there is no indication of a Mark 6 on the back of the package.
02:08So I don't know the story behind him, what happened to him,
02:11but I'm hoping maybe to go back and see if they have a Mark 4.
02:17But collect them all.
02:20I tell you so far, for the two figures that I've reviewed,
02:22I've been extremely impressed with this set as a whole, or this line.
02:27And I'm really hoping, crossing my fingers,
02:30that Hasbro is going to see the potential, that the demand is there,
02:35that they're going to keep releasing more of the Iron Man 2 figures.
02:38I'd love to get my hands on a Tony Stark,
02:41like a business suit Tony Stark, or a race car driver Tony Stark.
02:44But I'm really wanting a Whiplash.
02:47So I'm really hoping they're going to release a 6-inch Whiplash.
02:50At any rate, though, that's packaging on War Machine.
02:53What we'll do is we'll get this opened up,
02:56and we will have a better look at War Machine.

03:01And War Machine does not disappoint at all.
03:05This figure is awesome.
03:07Man, there I go throwing awesome out there again.
03:10But I love every aspect of this figure.
03:17It's certainly a far cry from the Iron Man series 1,
03:23Iron Man movie 1 figures,
03:25where they kind of did a Walmart,
03:27I think there was a Walmart exclusive,
03:30War Machine, give or take.
03:31It had the additional firepower there.
03:36But at the end of the day,
03:38it was basically just a repaint of the initial Iron Man figures.
03:42And I'm not a fan, really, of the original Iron Man figures,
03:45because really small, really lanky,
03:48these guys are a far cry.
03:50I mean, even holding this guy,
03:52there is a substantial weight to it.
03:55You can tell that they've put a lot of effort,
03:57and they've put a lot of care into making these guys.
04:01There's so much detail.
04:02There's all these little inner workings,
04:05details.
04:06Sculpt is incredible on this guy.
04:11And of course, being that he's War Machine,
04:12he's packed to the rim.
04:14So he's got himself a rocket launcher here.
04:20Now, I've already pegged it into place.
04:22It's just a little peg at the top that you plug in.
04:24But he's got his rocket launcher.
04:26He's also got his little mini Gatlin gun here.
04:30That you can actually tip up.
04:32So if you want to have him positioned with the Gatlin gun out of the way,
04:37you can certainly do that.
04:38You can also then put it back into place.
04:40And it's got lots of movement to it as well.
04:43Looks like it is on a mini ball joint.
04:51And just for comparison,
04:53what we'll do is we'll bring in the Iron Man Mark VI.
04:59Just going to give you guys a comparison.
05:01It does look like they've used,
05:04for the most part,
05:06they've used some,
05:07and I use some,
05:09of the,
05:11no,
05:12no,
05:12actually they haven't.
05:12I thought maybe they might have used the lower torso,
05:15but it is different.
05:16So it is a completely different sculpt.
05:21Obviously the War Machine,
05:22a lot broader,
05:24a lot more substantial,
05:26than the Iron Man Mark VI figure.

06:42looking at a figure like this,
06:43it just makes me want to get more of these six inch figures.

06:49but I'm really hoping that Mattel,
06:51or Hasbro,

06:54I'm really hoping that Hasbro is going to go in and release more of these figures.

07:00in the way of his articulation,
07:02he has the pin and socket joint head.
07:06So you can get lots of movement there.
07:09the shoulder pads,
07:10much like the Iron Man Mark 6 and 4,
07:13you can raise the shoulder pads up,
07:15and he's got a ball jointed shoulder.

07:18you can rotate the bicep,
07:20two points of articulation in the elbow.
07:22He's got the hands,
07:23that you can rotate back and forth,
07:24also bend back and forth.

07:26what I like too,
07:27is the fact that you can actually lift,
07:29the flaps here of the hands,
07:32and,
07:32uh,
07:32you can swap out,
07:34oh,
07:34I didn't forget about them.
07:35You can swap them out with four different hands.

07:39these are the,
07:39obviously the open hands,
07:40very similar to the other Iron Man figures.
07:42You've got a closed,
07:43kind of holding hand,
07:45if you want to have him holding on to something.

07:48and then there is also a fist hand,
07:51closed fist.
07:55Now,
07:56the only thing that's disappointing about this figure,
07:57the one thing that's disappointing about this figure,
08:00for me at least,
08:01and it's just the figure that I got,
08:03is the fact that his mid-torso is a bit loose.
08:07Now,
08:07he has no articulation in the waist,
08:09but he has the ball jointed legs,
08:11that you can bend back and forth,
08:12in and out,
08:13although this doesn't look like it wants to really move for me.
08:17Maybe the other leg will fare better.

08:22It's a bit stiff.
08:23I'll just work away at it,
08:25but in the meantime though,
08:26he has the mid,

08:29rotation.
08:30He's got the two points of articulation in his knee.

08:36pegged foot that will allow movement back and forth,
08:39somewhat up and down.
08:46And if you don't already own this figure,
08:48why not?
08:49This is a great figure to own.

08:55bit shame that he's a bit loose in the torso here.
08:59But I am pleased as punch to have picked this guy up.

09:20are $3 more,
09:22than the three and a quarter inch figures.
09:24Really thinks,
09:25makes me think that the three and a quarter inch figures,
09:27should be closer to,
09:29a $5 or $6 price point.
09:34But this is a figure you should pick up.
09:37The War Machine here,
09:38I am going to give a $9 to.
09:40And,
09:41if you are an Iron Man,
09:43if you are an Iron Man fan,
09:45or you love the movie,
09:46uh,
09:46this figure is a must.
09:48So,
