Navigation on the Danube in Serbia has come to a halt after workers from a shipping company blocked the river in a dispute over unpaid wages.
The blockade has also cut off Novi Sad's oil refinery and brought freight traffic to a standstill.
Those protesting say wages and benefits are now more than six months overdue.
