For the first time since Kingfisher Airlines was grounded, the management has made an offer that at least some employees are willing to consider their offer of three months salary. But other employees want at least four months salary to be paid. A few employees have claimed that this perhaps is an attempt by the Kingfisher management to save its owner Vijay Mallya some embarrassment before the F-1 race which is slated during October 26 to October 28. Meanwhile, the government has washed its hands off the matter. The government has clarified that KFA should expect no help from them. Even Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh has called Kingfisher a failed airline. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Saturday (Oct 20) suspended the Scheduled Operator Permit (SOP) of the airline following its failure to come up with a viable plan of financial and operation revival.
