Why did mainstream analysts predict the collapse of this alliance? Discover why BRICS, the coalition reshaping the Global South, Dedollarization, and the Multipolar World Order, is succeeding against all odds.

In this exclusive conversation on Think BRICS, we sit down with Dr Suvrokamal Dutta to break down the profound geopolitical transformation currently underway. The recent BRICS summit and the adoption of the New Delhi Declaration have marked a historic milestone in contemporary foreign policy and international diplomacy. Despite sharp internal rivalries, historic border disputes, and differing governance models, member states achieved unprecedented consensus.

Dr Suvrokamal Dutta provides an in-depth analysis of how Indian diplomacy has championed the strategic interests of emerging economies across Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

A central pillar of this discussion explores dedollarization and de-dollarization mechanisms. Rather than relying on an immediate, unified single currency, member nations are actively accelerating bilateral trade settled directly in local currency trade networks. By linking digital payment rails, central bank digital currencies, and sovereign financial systems, emerging markets are systematically reducing their dependence on the US dollar, Western financial clearinghouses, and unilateral economic sanctions.

This conversation explains how Western tariff pressures and trade barriers are inadvertently accelerating a historic global power shift toward a truly multipolar world and reshaping the world economy.

To ensure viewer expectations remain clear, please note that while this video focuses extensively on the BRICS New Delhi Declaration, Indian diplomacy, and high-level geopolitics, it does not provide:
• Speculative financial forecasts or personal investment advice regarding foreign exchange markets or sovereign bond yields.
• A tactical, day-to-day military operational analysis of ongoing armed regional conflicts.
• Coverage of internal municipal or provincial domestic election campaigns within individual member states.
• A technical breakdown of private commercial corporate trade contracts or individual retail banking protocols outside state-level local currency trade frameworks.
