00:00Three brand new faces Federico
00:02Vinyasa was getting the start he came off the bench last game scored a goal on their club record signing
00:06and we know the Brazilian
00:08He was also on the score sheet against Seattle
00:10Son his movement his creativity and David Martin is a very direct player a good pace and
00:15Ingenuity in the final third that can cause problems in transition
00:21It is
00:23Peluca in the white and blue who get us on the way attacking from right to left. It looks like
00:27it's gonna be Fetty
00:29Vinyasa leading that line right down the middle
00:31they are lining up in that back three and
00:34Giveaway almost immediately what a chance and the referee is gonna give a penalty and it's a yellow card as
00:41well
00:42That was inside 20 seconds
00:50Now they're gonna take a look at this one
00:52But his board hat telling the referee
00:55It's not a penalty and he saw what we saw in the replay
00:58So it was hot in the mouth got a moment for Luan. He could not believe that was given
01:03But quick correct implementation of Vaughn
01:07And no yellow card and a handshake as well the striker for Toluca trying to get
01:12Get a couple touches of the ball and just feel like he's involved in the game
01:17Go back to the placing thing. It's certainly not like the like in terms of the goal threat
01:22It's all over the variables to the game
01:25Free saying play on again as Sun goes down
01:27They are the driving forward Gallardo chance to go for go with his left foot and it's right into the
01:33hands of Lurice
01:41So not for the first time losing possession
01:43This time as much as we praise LAFC for being the team in transition
01:47Jesus Gallardo doing a good job of one cleans up the mess Tillman
01:52Hold on to it and now the break might be on
01:55It's been a theme for LAFC at times long ball over the top Heleno good first touch goes for gold
02:02big save
02:03That's stunning goalkeeping from Uga Lurice
02:08It's going across offering the the shown option Heleno delivering more central
02:13Heads clear
02:15Now the break might be on because the ball's played in behind Denny Bawonga
02:20There's only one cover defender Simon. He plays David Martinez son on the overlap David Martinez
02:26Tries to go for goal is deflected Denny Bawonga and that's a wonderful save from Uga Gonzalez
02:31But for the save of the Toluca goalkeeper
02:34It's just been a couple of sloppy moments and throughout the course of this first half for both teams David
02:39Martinez lets that ball get behind him
02:41Instead of maybe playing it back to Denny Bawonga. He tries to shot a mission from a cheap giveaway from
02:46LAFC standpoint
02:47I mean the ball there another ball in over the top and Chibarco caught too far forward to far. I
02:52come in across
02:54Heleno Heleno lovely ball back to the edge of the box and that is a poor effort
03:00And it's coming inside
03:02But there's no doubt about it Heleno is the star man of this Toluca attack. Yeah, without a doubt, but
03:07just look at this space
03:09Chibarco gets caught out of position is a good ball in and I love this from Heleno the little cut
03:15back there
03:16Really poor attempt at the end Perez leaning back never gets over the ball
03:20No conviction in the strike
03:22I'm here from Tillman now. He's got a bit of space Delgada making a really good run down the middle
03:27Tillman
03:28Comes back in through Schwannier
03:31Schwannier strikes off the woodwork
03:34They tend to be special. It's not far away. Well, he has a keeper beat
03:38Heleno
03:40Forcing Chibarco on his back foot
03:43Guzman
03:46Inside the penalty area gets it back on his right foot and it's right at the race who spilled it
03:51for a moment
03:52It captures it at the second attempt
03:57Oh
03:58Not a good touch Denny Buonga
04:03We don't often see a miss from that kind of rage and he completely missed the target
04:10But just look how Denny Buonga is the one that comes to life
04:12He's the one that's anticipating a poor touch as opposed to a Toluca and defender and we're in the number
04:1799
04:17He does as well done everything to try to create a chance. Only thing that's lacking is that clinical edge
04:26And they won here against Toluca back in late April they scored with their only two shots on target
04:32And they are though good angle on that cross
04:35Heleno trying to track this one down in a battle with Chibarco and he gets there ahead of him and
04:39keeps it in play and turns him
04:42He's box office
04:50He had no right to keep that ball in play
04:54Minimum of two additional here
04:58And the referee blows the whistle it is lafc who get us underway
05:03In the black and gold attacking from right to left the ball back at ugularis who launches one forward
05:08Looking for holly's head
05:12Dolgara
05:12Dolgara nice touch from him
05:14To far right
05:15Ian Long have done a really good job on
05:17Federico Vinha so far
05:26Tillman
05:27A couple of moments where he got caught possession in that first half really costly
05:34To far right now, it's Toluca's turn to drop off
05:41Chibarco
05:42Have an eye on that Chibarco millennial matchup as well
05:46An area of concern at times for lafc
05:48Tillman
05:50Martinez
05:51Take it on the turn that was better from David Martinez driving forward
05:56Delgado to one side he goes alone and that one goes a couple yards wide
06:01That was more direct that was more decisive and wasn't far away, but this is what I mean about david
06:07martinez when he's at his best
06:09He could just create something there is long
06:14Good step from ever out of lopez referee says play on david martinez beat to that one
06:21On the turn and lorice has to get down sharply that's the first time we've seen vinyas get in that
06:27kind of zone
06:28Good power on it, but a comfortable save in the end for the former french international
06:32It's not a bad strike from vinyas. He's going away from goal to generate that kind of power
06:38But then there's no oh good ball and then he ball on game behind on his left foot and
06:43Gonzalez got down sharply
06:46It could have taken that one on a yard as well. Well, just look at this little slip ball
06:51Through the lines denny wonger. It's on his left foot. Just can't get the power. He's looking for it's a
06:55little bit under his feet
07:01Alino he's waiting for the overlap of simon and he tried to play it
07:04But again, it's good defending from segura
07:05That's been an inspired decision to bring him on a left back
07:08Denny wonger on the turn and he used the strength to put her in the challenge to beat him
07:13Denny wonger now the help coming still denny wonger gets the cross in what an interception
07:21Luan got it, but just watch how denny wonger invites his pressure and then he just rolls for her
07:27Says bye-bye
07:28And that the commitment from jeremy abobisi to attack that far post but the defensive effort
07:33Deluca haven't really defended that doesn't matter because the delivery goes in a bit flat
07:41Clear then onto it like a flash is delgado denny wonger tries to go for goal and that one took
07:46an awkward deflection comfortable save for gonzalez
07:50No rush whatsoever from gonzalez
07:55Seems as though to lucas more than content to to see this out and take their chances and penalties
08:04Don't even at least go to four points possibly five if they could win the penalty shootout
08:15It's confirmation of those two additional it's terry still time for a late winner all except that one through terry
08:23Delgado trying to go back to terry and a launched ball forward
08:28Nobody that far up the field for to luca
08:42Oh
08:43Segura
08:47I'm on 90 seconds at bemo stadium a defensive stalemate so far with shappelberg getting in behind can he deliver
08:54the cross
08:55He can it towards the bow as he cleared segura opens up
08:58Oh
09:16A defensive stalemate lit up by a world-class strike from eddie segura
09:31Well, jacob shappelberg came into the game to place replace david martinez and he was brought in for this to
09:37be direct to commit defenders
09:40But we're gonna get the final whistle
09:42Not even gonna have to wait for that lafc win this one late on an absolutely stunning strike from eddie
09:50segura
09:52Mark de santos celebrates his side alive and kicking in leagues could play
