00:00In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful.
00:03A woman came to the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
00:08and she offered herself to the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, for marriage.
00:14The Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said,
00:17I no longer need a woman.
00:20Upon this, a companion said,
00:23O Messenger of Allah, marry her to me.
00:26The Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said,
00:30What do you have?
00:32He said, I have nothing.
00:36The Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said,
00:38Give this woman something, even if it is a ring of gold.
00:43He said, Huzoor, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, I have nothing.
00:48The Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, asked,
00:51How much do you remember the Holy Quran?
00:54He said, I remember certain Surahs.
00:58The Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said,
01:01Then I gave her to you for your marriage.
01:05In return for this Quran, which you remember.
