In the north of the archipelago, the largest island of the Comoros strongly contrasts with its three neighbours. Indeed, MOHELI, ANJOUAN and MAYOTTE are more than 4 million years old each. And Grand Comoro isn’t more than one hundred and twenty thousand years old.
