The Shuffle
@The_Shuffle
The Shuffle are a punk band from Macclesfield UK (Nr Manchester)
The Shuffle formally known as Monkey Shuffle got together in Summer 2002, since then we've been on a few UK tours, made 2 DIY albums and done loads of gigs. We've played with bands such as:
4ft Fingers, The Dead Pets, The Splitters, Peter & The Test Tube Babies, No Comply, Five Knuckle, Conflict, Failsafe, Howard Alias, Goldblade + loads more
We first got into it to play some gigs and write some of our own material, and nearly 4 years down the line thats still the main aim, its just got alot more serious and organised. Hence changed our name and dropped the monkey part of our name, which we saw as comedic and didnt reflect on the band well.
Our style has progressed through the years, in the early days we had alot of Ska influences mainly from Operation Ivy/Rancid and Capdown. Since we've found a fusion between older styles like Rancid and Dropkick Murphys' music and newer styles like Rise Against and Strike Anywhere's Music.
