03:26conducts experiments by locking himself in an isolation tank while taking hallucinogenic drugs he obtained during an excursion in Mexico.
03:34The professor devolves into a primitive Neanderthal at first.
03:43But the results prove more horrifying when he transforms into a shapeless mass of gooey matter.
03:53With blasphemous religious hallucinations of a goat headed seven eyed Jesus on the cross,
03:58in addition to the devolved states of inhumanity,

06:57Hellraiser sees Frank's brother Larry and his wife Julia stay at the house Frank disappeared in,
07:02only for the deceased brother to come back as a skinless, undead human.

07:26Worst of all, the Cenobites get off on these mutilations.

07:34Number 4. Videodrome.
07:36Videodrome is death.
07:39Exploring the themes of television, technology and the effects they have on our minds and bodies,
07:45Videodrome is a bizarre, surreal movie with body horror at its center.
07:49Long left the new flesh.
07:54The film follows a cable TV programmer,
07:56who becomes obsessed with a strange signal broadcasting snuff films.
08:00Something to do with the effects of exposure to violence on the nervous system.
08:05It opens up receptors in the brain and the spine,
08:08and that allows the Videodrome signal to sink in.
08:10The programming eventually warps his perception of reality.
08:13Death to Videodrome! Long live the new flesh!
08:17Much like Cronenberg's other body horror film, Scanners,
08:22the man becomes an assassin for an evil corporation looking to brainwash humans.
08:28With organic videocassette slots in stomachs,
08:30tumors gushing out of bullet holes in bodies,
08:33and living, breathing, seductive TV sets,
08:36it's safe to say, long live the new flesh!

08:53The first entry in this monumental film franchise,
08:57Alien offers claustrophobia and terror,
08:59as the Nostromo space crew lands on a planetoid,
09:02where they discover thousands of eggs.
09:05Ash, can you see this?
09:07Yes, I can.
09:12I've never seen anything like it.
09:14Paranoia and fear kick in,
09:15when a creature springs forth from one of the eggs,
09:18and attaches itself to one of the crew members' faces.
09:26All hell breaks loose,
09:27when the seemingly recovered crew member starts convulsing and choking,
09:31as his chest explodes, unleashing the alien from within.
09:42The notion of using the human body as a means to birth aliens is a horrifying thought.
09:52Number 2, The Thing!
09:54You see, what we're talking about here is an organism that imitates other life forms,
09:58and it imitates them perfectly.
10:00When this thing attacked our dogs, it tried to digest them.
10:04A shape-shifting alien has cornered scientists in a research station,
10:08where no one knows who's human and who's alien in this paranoia-filled movie set in the Antarctic.
10:14Thousands of years ago it crashes,
10:16and this thing gets thrown out, or crawls out, and it ends up freezing in the ice.
10:22I just cannot believe any of this voodoo bullshit.
10:25The Thing offers gore a plenty,
10:28with graphic transformations, dogs and humans being ripped apart,
10:32skin melting off, alien tentacles squirting and oozing blood and slime,
10:36and many other colorful images.
10:43An iconic scene shows one of the researchers trying to resuscitate a fellow crew member using a defibrillator.
10:50But unbeknownst to him, The Thing has taken over.

12:49What ensues is a slow transformation into a fly-human hybrid,

12:56nails, teeth and ears falling off,
12:59white corrosive vomit melting limbs,
13:01and of course, the actual transformation into a grotesque, bulging fly.
