Hello guys! New VM :)
I kept it very simple.. Didn't want to take away the charm of the song by complicating it. It's based on Meeta falling for Nikhil. I feel this song is very fitting for two people who had become used to being misunderstood and demeaned over the course of their lives and yet find a confidante, a friend and ultimately a soulmate in each other. As the main idea of the song says "Goonja sa hai koi iktara..." that is the connect these two share. :)
There are some people in our lives who listen to the music in our soul. They don't see our aimlessness, our incapacity to fit in or generally just how lost, misunderstood and alone we are. They see our beauty, fall in love with it and ultimately inspire us to do better, be better. That is what Nikhil and Meeta are all about.
And yes, Ani... my best best best friend. Some parts of what I just wrote were also directed at you and you know it. :-) Thank you for always making sense of me when I don't even make much sense to myself. You know the rest. :) Love you loads and I hope you like this!
