00:00These glasses are actually a VR headset in disguise, and they're incredible.
00:04Here at IFA 2026, I finally got to experience the Xreal Aura glasses,
00:07smart specs that combine the best of the Xreal One Pro and the Samsung Galaxy XR.
00:12They're lightweight because the battery and processing power is all stored in the connected
00:15compute puck. That means that you should easily be able to wear them for hours on an end every
00:19day without any discomfort, something I can't say for a typical headset. The specs themselves
00:24just house a pair of 2K see-through displays, speakers for audio, and cameras that allow the
00:28glasses to see the world around you, for hand tracking and circle to search functions that
00:33let you Google search the things that you can see. In fact, they can do everything Android
00:36XR has to offer. You can download Play Store apps to play games, both XR and Flat, watch
00:41content on your streaming service of choice, or open up Google Docs and get to work on a
00:45project among so many other use cases. Best of all, you can easily hook up a USB-C device
00:50like a Steam Deck, tablet, or computer to have its screens appear in front of you, alongside
00:54Xreal Aura app windows. I jumped into Hades on the Steam Deck while watching a YouTube clip,
00:58of the latest GTA 6 trailer, and had a Gemini conversation on the go as well. The AI could
01:03see my gameplay and was offering me coaching. It was all very impressive, and I can't wait
01:07to give these glasses a proper test when they finally launch. Speaking of, Xreal hasn't
01:11confirmed a release date or price for Aura, but its official website says it'll be landing
01:15sometime this fall and will cost less than $1500.
01:18$1500.
