People lay flowers at the Dutch embassy in Moscow on Friday to mark the anniversary of the downing of Malaysian airlines flight MH17.
As inquiries continue so do recriminations. Pro-Russian separatists are believed to have shot down the plane. Russia squarely denies this.

The Deputy Head of the Russian Aviation authority Oleg Storchevoy went further telling a press conference on Thursday:
“The Ukrainian side simply did not want to lose money from closing the air space. 298 people fell victim to this greediness and negligence of the norms of safety.”
A final report by the Dutch Safety Board into the cause of the crash is scheduled to be released in October.
