00:01A bilateral meeting between Poland's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister and the UK's Defence Secretary took place in Warsaw
00:09on Tuesday.
00:11The three-year plan signed by the two countries is the result of the Polish-British treaty adopted a few
00:16months ago.
00:18According to Warsaw, the main areas of cooperation between Poland and the United Kingdom will include
00:23new technologies, artificial intelligence, drones, anti-drone systems, modern deterrence measures,
00:30as well as traditional exercises to build capabilities and cooperation in different conditions.
00:36The more ready we are to face against Russia, to defend every inch of NATO territory,
00:43the less likely we are to find ourselves in that scenario, and that's why today is so important.
00:49So I'm looking forward to deepening those ties of friendship, of military cooperation, of defence-industrial partnership.
00:58The ministers insisted there is full unity and coordination between their countries when it comes to supporting Ukraine.
01:05The British Defence Secretary also referred to the hybrid attacks carried out by Russia against Poland,
01:11which he explicitly described as terrorism.
01:14The politicians also discussed relations with the United States.
01:18The Polish Defence Minister said that both countries agreed on a policy of strengthening and building up Europe's own capabilities,
01:26but do not support complete independence from the United States.
