Additional police and protective measures will be deployed to guard the area around Grenfell Tower during this year's Notting Hill Carnival. Chief Superintendent Robyn Williams, the Metropolitan Police's spokesperson for the event has asked for people going to the event ot be respectful around the area, including avoiding 'selfies'.
