Early Man is an upcoming British stop-motion animated comedy film directed by Nick Park and written by Mark Burton and John O'Farrell. The lead character, Dug, will be voiced by Eddie Redmayne. The film's voice cast also includes Tom Hiddleston, Maisie Williams, and Timothy Spall. Produced by Aardman Animations, the film is being co-financed by Aardman and StudioCanal, which will release it on 26 January 2018, in the United Kingdom.
