After the removal of article 370, the first Eid was celebrated peacefully in the valley. Hundreds of people came out of their homes and went to the mosque to offer Eid prayers. After this, hugs greeted each other on Eid. During this time, a large number of security forces were deployed on the rumble. However, in the other cities including Srinagar, section 144 was relaxed by the administration to offer prayers to the people.
आर्टिकल 370 हटाने के बाद घाटी में पहली ईद शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से मनाई गई। सैकड़ों की संख्या में लोग अपने-अपने घरों से निकले और मस्जिद जाकर ईद की नमाज़ अता की। इसके बाद गले मिलकर एक-दूसरे को ईद की बधाई दी। इस दौरान चप्पे-चप्पे पर भारी संख्या में सुरक्षा बलों को तैनात किया गया था। हालांकि श्रीनगर समेत अन्य शहरों में प्रशासन की तरफ से लोगों को नमाज़ के लिए धारा 144 में कुछ ढील दी गई थी।
