A group of more than 4,000 women’s rights activists, progressive groups and concerned citizens have written an open letter to Chief Justice of India S.A. Bobde, saying that he must resign for asking a to marry his schoolgoing victim and justifying marital in the Supreme Court.
चीफ जस्टिस के एसए बोबडे की रेप के आरोपी से शादी वाली टिप्पणी पर बवाल मच गया है. CPIM पोलित ब्यूरो की सदस्य वृंदा करात ने चीफ जस्टिस एस ए बोवड़े को पत्र लिख कर उनसे टिप्पणी वापस लेने का आग्रह किया है. वृंदा ने कहा कि अदालतों को यह धारणा नहीं देनी चाहिए कि वह पीछे ले जाने वाले ऐसे दृष्टिकोणों का समर्थन करती है. वाम नेता ने कहा कि इन सवालों ,शब्दों और कार्यों का नाबालिगों के साथ बलात्कार के मामलों में जमानत देने के गंभीर निहितार्थ हैं।
