Tale of Terror in Rizal
Rose Salundaga, 49, live-in partner of Michael “Greg” Dasigao, one of nine reported community organizers killed in a series of raids by military and police in the Calabarzon region on March 7, 2021, recalls the day of the shooting in their home in Kasiglahan Village in Rodriguez, Rizal. Dasigao's house was one of two that was targetted by the raiding team in the area. Dasigao was a member of the urban poor group Sikkad Montalban. The raids were condemned by local and international rights groups as the government vowed to conduct an investigation.
