00:02 - Start here first.
00:05 I know you broke some great news here
00:07 with the Cardinals trading Jordan Hicks to the Blue Jays.
00:10 Let me just say this.
00:12 What are we looking at with the Cardinals
00:13 as the first part of this?
00:15 Are they in complete sell mode?
00:16 Is Arenado on the mood?
00:18 Is Goldschmidt on the mood?
00:19 Talk to me about those Cardinals here at the deadline.
00:22 - Yeah, I think the Cardinals still have some moves to make.
00:24 My guess is they'll definitely make at least one move today.
00:27 They have an expiring contract with a starting pitcher,
00:29 Jack Flaherty, so I would guess before six o'clock Eastern
00:33 that he would get moved, maybe some others as well.
00:35 It just sort of depends on what they're looking for.
00:38 As far as Arenado and Goldschmidt,
00:39 I believe they've already publicly come out and said
00:41 that these guys are gonna be on the team next year.
00:44 So barring some crazy change of heart,
00:47 which we have seen by the way in the past,
00:49 then I do think that their third base
00:51 and first base is locked up.
00:53 And the other thing the Cardinals could do
00:54 is they could go into the winter
00:56 and reconfigure a little bit more of the team.
00:58 But the process has already started now, that's for sure.
01:01 And I do believe some of it will continue today.
