00:00 It was a piece of cake when an engineer found the body of Bacoor Cavite.
00:04 He was robbed of almost 4 million pesos.
00:08 And Rafi T. was caught live.
00:11 Vicky was found dead by an engineer at the former OFW here in Bacoor
00:20 after he was missing on the same day of his death last month.
00:26 [inaudible]
00:29 A month after he was missing, the victim, Engineer Napoleon Fernandez, was found dead in a ditch in Bacoor, Cavite.
00:36 He was found with 4 bags.
00:38 The suspect, whom Romnick Bombeo knew, was the one who found him.
00:42 The victim was trusted and he was with him for 2 years.
00:46 During custodial debriefing, the suspect told me that on July 7, the victim's birthday,
00:57 they were having a drink and they were fighting.
01:00 So the victim challenged him to kill him.
01:05 The suspect quickly took the samurai and stabbed the victim.
01:10 The suspect was arrested first and then he was taken to the victim's house.
01:14 He was forced to leave his backpack on August 7.
01:17 This was after the Cebu Police was able to contact Bacoor PNP
01:20 where they reported the missing victim for a month.
01:23 He even fought the police when he was arrested.
01:26 I saw the contents of the bag, the money, the victim's belongings, IDs, and ATM cards.
01:35 It was worth 4,925,100 pesos.
01:41 To hide the crime, the suspect forced the victim to leave his backpack and threw him in the ditch.
01:47 He put him in a suitcase and took him to the creek.
01:50 He rode a jeep and carried the victim's body 5 to 7 times.
01:55 The old sibling of the victim who lived in Cebu and was the first to report the incident
02:01 arrived at Bacoor Police Station.
02:03 It was hard to accept that his brother was in the hands of a trusted person.
02:08 My brother was like a pet dog.
02:12 He gave him an apartment.
02:14 He ate whatever my brother ate.
02:17 He gave him money.
02:19 He could go on vacation whenever he wanted.
02:21 He would stab him and kill him.
02:24 After he killed him, he would chop him up.
02:28 He would throw him in the river.
02:30 My brother was in pain.
02:33 He was so strong.
02:35 Vicky, aside from the first case of qualified theft and direct assault,
02:42 the suspect of the robbery with homicide has been found.
02:45 Bacoor PNP is still investigating if he has evidence after he committed the murder and robbery.
