00:03 This is our update on the weather for the next 24 hours.
00:09 Good news, we are still not being warned about the low pressure area or the weather
00:13 inside and outside of our Philippine area of responsibility
00:16 that could cause a storm in the next few days.
00:19 But the continuous flow of the Southwest Monsoon or the heavy winds in the whole country
00:24 could be a chance for us to experience a heavy downpour and a chance of rain,
00:32 hail and lightning in the whole of Visayas, Mindanao and a large portion of Southern Luzon.
00:38 Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon are more likely to have isolated rain showers
00:45 or localized thunderstorms.
00:48 And for the weather forecast for today in Luzon, the whole Bicol region,
00:55 including the northern portion of the Palawan area,
00:59 could experience a heavy downpour and a chance of rain showers.
01:05 And this morning, we have already observed thunderstorm activity
01:12 in some parts of Southern Luzon,
01:14 particularly in the areas of Oriental Mindoro, in the islands of Marinduque and Romblon,
01:20 and also in the Bicol region, in the provinces of Camarines Sur, Albay and Masbate.
01:27 We expect that later in the day, there will be more areas that will be exposed to rain,
01:32 especially here in Southern Luzon.
01:34 These rain showers will be frequent from the afternoon to the evening.
01:40 So be prepared and be alert for sudden landslides,
01:44 especially in flood-prone and low-lying areas.
01:49 Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon are more likely to have isolated rain showers.
01:54 We will experience a hot and humid temperature this morning until the afternoon.
01:59 By the afternoon and evening, we will still be expecting dry rain showers
02:03 with a chance of rain showers and localized thunderstorms.
02:08 The temperature outside today is likely to be between 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.
02:13 17 to 24 degrees Celsius in Baguio City and 25 to 36 degrees Celsius in Taguig Araw.
02:19 The temperature forecast for Metro Manila today is between 27 to 33 degrees Celsius.
02:25 22 to 31 degrees Celsius in Tagaytay.
02:28 26 to 31 degrees Celsius in Legazpi.
02:31 And 26 to 32 degrees Celsius in Palawan, in the areas of Puerto Princesa and in Calayaan Islands.
02:41 Bongbisayas and Mindanao, due to the strong effects of the flood in the aforementioned areas,
02:48 we are still expecting heavy rainfall,
02:51 and there will be scattered rain showers, floods, and landslides throughout the day.
02:54 So this morning, we are expecting heavy rainfall,
02:56 and this will continue to fall until the evening.
03:01 And this early morning, we are still expecting thunderstorms.
03:04 We have advisers, or we have reported thunderstorm activity in some areas,
03:09 or in a large part of Eastern Visayas, and also here in the northern portion of Cebu Island.
03:15 And there will be more areas that will be flooded later in the day.
03:19 So for the rest of the day, or later in the morning,
03:23 we are expecting heavy rainfall and floods throughout Visayas and Mindanao,
03:27 and this will continue to fall until the evening.
03:33 The temperature in Iloilong today is possible to play from 26 to 33 degrees Celsius.
03:39 25 to 32 degrees in Cebu, and 25 to 31 degrees Celsius in Tacloban.
03:45 The temperature in Cagayandeoro today is possible from 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.
03:50 25 to 32 degrees in Davao, and 23 to 31 degrees Celsius in Zamboanga.
03:57 And in the condition of our ocean, there is no gale warning that is high in any of our nearby islands.
04:03 Our fishermen and small fishing boats are unlikely to be affected.
04:08 The precautions of our fishermen and fishermen are still different,
04:12 particularly in the nearby seas of Luzon,
04:15 because we are still hoping that the weather will continue until the high seas
04:20 brought by the southwest monsoon or the low winds.
