00:00 Yeah, because in December last year, me and my wife's son was stillborn, just before Christmas
00:09 19th of December. He was born in the Lewis Street at Sunderland Hospital, just up the
00:15 road. And that's been provided for by the charity, for Lewis Charity. And they've provided
00:21 things like that all over the country. And I know, especially for me wife at the time,
00:25 it would have been nearly impossible for her to do it in any other kind of setting really,
00:31 because it was quite challenging. And then after he was born and obviously died, we got
00:36 the box, we got quite a few boxes that was provided for by the charity. Me son and me
00:41 stepdaughter, I got one as well if I remember. And then at George's funeral, me little boy's
00:46 funeral, we were funded for the charity. And when me wife took her back, she managed to
00:51 stay there for a little while and speak to the staff there and it really helped her.
00:55 And from knowing what they do across the country, even just by looking at the socials, they
01:00 go up and down, talking to nurses and midwives right across. It's just generally a really
01:05 good charity.
01:06 You got into running at some point, so tell me a bit about when you started running.
01:13 Like I say, I started, I turned the greener on 10 years ago, when I was 18 at the time.
01:17 And that was the last time I ran until a couple of weeks ago when I started training for the
01:22 Great North Run this year. It's taken a bit out of us today, to be honest, but it'll be
01:28 alright in a day. So it's not the average thing that I've been doing for years, it's
01:32 just something that I've had to pick up over the last couple of weeks and months.
01:36 How's training going then?
01:37 Slowly. It was all like, I've had a week off last week because I was on holiday. So it's
01:41 getting back into it. And it's just, we're just getting there. It's all performing in
01:45 place for the day. Hopefully we'll manage it alright. I don't know if we're going for
01:51 any World Vet Gauge or anything like that, but it'll be alright.
01:54 Just for that finishing minute, that's all you need.
01:56 Now we're getting a bit closer, how are you feeling? I know you said that you've had a
02:02 week off, so how are you feeling right about now?
02:05 Starting to get a bit nervous. I've had to go and get back into it a bit more and starting
02:10 to get put. Feeling a bit more confident that it'll be alright. We'll get there in the
02:14 end and it'll all fall into place.
02:17 Definitely. I mean it's like, what, a couple of weeks away now?
02:19 Just shy of a month. I got an email whilst I was on holiday saying there was a month
02:22 to go. And that was, I didn't realise it was that soon to be honest. So hopefully when
02:28 I got that I was checking the dates thinking someone had lied. But apparently it was.
02:32 Do you want to give it a go?
02:36 It was great. I've thoroughly enjoyed it the first time. I'm packing a bit more timber
02:39 than I was last time. But it'll be alright. But the first time I ran into this time it's
02:43 been great. It's been great getting out and about. Obviously it's a challenge just to
02:47 get out and about now since, in general. So it's been a challenge. So it's great to get
02:52 out and about doing the training. And then even better on the day and all night I'll
02:56 be running with everyone else. And that'll be, and especially if most of the majority
03:00 of people do it for a good cause.
