00:00 Beijing China is hosting the 2023 World Robot Conference.
00:06 More than 600 robot products are presented,
00:09 made by various domestic and foreign robotics companies.
00:13 Mark Fetalco will give you the details.
00:15 Robots that look like humans.
00:23 These are just a few of the events of the 2023 World Robot Conference here in Beijing, China.
00:29 I call it a humanoid robot barista,
00:32 who seems to be able to communicate and serve customers.
00:36 These robots gave life to the two ancient Chinese cats,
00:44 Levi and Lufu.
00:46 But if there are humanoid robots,
00:47 there are also robots that look like animals.
00:50 Like the Cyber Dogs,
00:51 who can flip,
00:53 and do other tricks like a real dog.
00:56 There are also robots that fly like real birds and butterflies.
00:59 Here at the World Robot Conference,
01:01 we will be able to see many different kinds of robots.
01:04 But it's not just a simple research paper,
01:07 because these are also products that can be used in everyday life of humans.
01:11 Just like this robot,
01:13 which can climb trees and vegetables.
01:15 At the Beijing Yitrong International Exhibition and Convention Center,
01:19 where the WRC 2023 is being held,
01:22 more than 600 robot products are presented,
01:25 from more than 140 domestic and foreign robotics companies.
01:29 These robots are related to manufacturing,
01:33 services,
01:34 education,
01:35 and healthcare.
01:35 This disinfection robot
01:38 was made for hospitals.
01:40 But it can be bought and used at home,
01:43 to quickly disinfect,
01:44 and not spread the virus.
01:46 This product is because of the COVID.
01:49 Like in the last three years,
01:51 the COVID spread all around the world.
01:53 And we care about the health of the human.
02:00 And we do not want the workers to work too much
02:03 for the disinfection of the environment.
02:06 So we try to innovate this kind of machine,
02:10 to reduce the workload of the cleaners.
02:14 The World Robot Expo was opened on August 16,
02:17 and will last until March, August 22.
02:19 Mark Vitalko for the people of Beijing, China.
