00:04 The actress tells People that "Luetta" isn't the moniker she and her partner,
00:07 Derek Richard Thomas, originally had in mind.
00:10 Willis, who partnered with Creighton Barrow for a home makeover,
00:13 explains that they were initially going to name their daughter Loretta,
00:16 but due to a typo with Thomas accidentally leaving out the letter "R" in a text,
00:20 it became just "Luetta."
00:21 She goes on to say,
00:22 "I was like, 'Oh, I love that. I feel like it was one of those kind of divine intervention universe moments.'
00:28 And we figured it out actually quite early in my pregnancy."
00:31 Willis admits that once they got the name, she spent some time worrying if it would be a good fit.

00:36 "I fell in love with the name so much, so early on, that I was then worried it wouldn't work.
00:41 But then she came out, and I mean, to me, at least right now, I was going to name her Lou,
00:46 whether she was a boy or a girl."
00:47 She shares that they also like the versatility of the name,
00:50 explaining, "If she doesn't feel like a Luetta, she can go by Lou.
00:53 She can go by Etta.
00:54 She can go change it up throughout her life, whatever she wants."
