00:24 On August 12, the Pasig City Police raided the house of the Barrios family in Brgy. Agtabo, Pasig City, Iloilo.
00:31 Neptali and Jeffrey were arrested for the strafing incident in the town of San Enrique on July 30.
00:38 Police recovered different types of guns, bullets, magazines, and grenades.
00:43 Neptali was arrested but his brother Jeffrey, a sergeant and a member of the 301st Brigade of the Philippine Army, was not there.
00:51 But the complaint of his wife, Jeffrey, was that the guns were planted.
00:55 The 135,000 pesos of cash that was hidden inside their house was also lost.
01:01 The family was arrested for the robbery of our house.
01:05 They prepared a search warrant.
01:08 This is how the police robbed our house.
01:12 This is how the civilians robbed our house.
01:15 But the Iloilo Police Provincial Office and the Regional Office 6 were against their operation.
01:22 No one was hurt. No one was damaged.
01:24 And their search was done correctly.
01:27 The wife signed the certificate of order of the search and inventory report.
01:33 It was done voluntarily and in the presence of barangay officials, in the presence of the prosecutor.
01:41 But because of the incident, the police lieutenant colonel Aaron Palomo, the chief of Pasig City Police Station, was under administrative relief.
01:50 He was the one who initiated the search warrant.
01:52 According to the Iloilo Police Provincial Office, 34 members of the operating team were temporarily placed in the provincial headquarters while the investigation was still ongoing.
02:02 Administrative relief, meaning they were in the operating headquarters, pending the next move of the higher headquarters.
02:15 Especially, there were investigations that were being conducted to clear what happened here.
02:24 The GMA Regional TV 1 Western Visayas is trying to get the list of police who were relieved but they haven't been able to give their statement.
02:32 Sergeant Barrios was also arrested and is now in restricted custody.
02:36 The separate investigation of the military that is being led by Barrios is also in progress.
