00:00 The Asean Summit reached the topic of rice because it is the center of the President's talks with the leader of Vietnam.
00:07 The last promise that will help our supply is being promised by Ivan Mayrina.
00:12 Even before the price of rice rose and the price cap was lifted,
00:20 the country is already having a problem in obtaining supply, especially in the middle of the rising El Nino.
00:25 That's why the Asean Summit is on the sidelines here in Indonesia. The President talked with the Prime Minister of Vietnam,
00:31 one of the buyers of rice in the Philippines.
00:34 The promise of Vietnam is that they will sell at a lower price.
00:47 We look forward to having a stable, framework of cooperation of rice trade for a long period of at least five years.
00:58 Agriculture is also one of the topics of the President's talks with the new Prime Minister of Cambodia,
01:03 where the Philippines raised 2,500 tons of rice in May.
01:08 In the face of what we are anticipating in terms of the El Nino and the drought that it brings,
01:17 we hope that we can find an agreement.
