00:00 The ferry ship off the coast of the Spanish island of Gran Canaria crashed directly into
00:04 a harbor wall, causing only minor injuries to 13 people on board.
00:08 The ferry had a power outage which then caused the crew to lose control of the ship, but
00:12 they built up enough speed to plow hard into the wall.
00:16 Is this inappropriate right now?
00:19 It's too bad they don't make bumpers.
00:21 Though the seawall was not completely breached, some underwater fuel lines were damaged in
00:25 the accident, causing a nearly two-mile oil slick.
00:29 As someone who has personally gone to go wash poor penguins when they are covered in oil,
00:33 that kind of situation really sucks.
00:35 Not only for economic reasons, but also for nature in general.
00:39 And while the footage is dramatic, it's actually not something that's super uncommon.
00:43 Check this footage of something that happened in San Diego and make sure to watch for grandma.
00:47 A whale watching boat coming back to harbor crashed into a crowded dock.
00:51 This was also blamed on technical failure.
01:05 I just keep hoping that guy would just grab her and pull her faster.
01:08 And while ship crashes can be dramatic, sometimes they are done on purpose.
01:12 Oh humans.
01:13 This ship is being junked so it intentionally is being beached at full speed.
01:17 Then there's this guy.
