00:00 abandoned pitbull was found hiding under an SUV, bleeding from a ruptured tumor.
00:04 When a gentle rescuer guided her to safety, Lisa the pitbull thanked him with
00:08 a kiss. I'm not crying. I'm just... okay, fine, I'm crying.
00:13 Following up on a tip, a rescuer from Hope for Paws found Lisa hiding, scared,
00:19 and obviously in a lot of pain. After gently stroking and petting Lisa to gain
00:23 her trust, the rescuer is able to put a leash around her neck and gently lead
00:27 her to safety. You can see in her eyes how scared Lisa is, even when she's out
00:31 from underneath that SUV, but soon you can see a smile on her little doggie
00:35 face. Hope for Paws is a nonprofit organization in Los Angeles that rescues
00:39 suffering animals from the streets or from shelters to find the animals happy
00:43 foster homes or permanent homes. They have a YouTube channel full of amazing
00:47 animal rescue stories. I have to say I'm very impressed with how gentle this
00:51 rescuer is while he's saving Lisa's life. Pitbulls are very gentle pets, but they
00:56 do have a bad reputation. If you're in the Los Angeles area and you want to
00:59 give Lisa or a pet like Lisa a permanent home, please contact muchlove.org.
