00:00 passenger on board a United flight from Chicago to Louisville was knocked
00:03 unconscious by authorities and then forcibly dragged from the plane in front
00:07 of screaming passengers because the flight was full and space was needed for
00:11 United employees to board the flight. United offered paying ticket holders
00:15 $800 to hop on the next flight and when there were no takers, they decided to
00:19 choose some passengers at random. There was one couple who cooperated and left
00:23 the flight. The next man was a doctor who had to be at the hospital the next
00:26 morning. He said he didn't want to leave because he had indeed paid for that
00:30 ticket and this is when it gets bad.
00:35 In the video you can see how security guards knock him unconscious by hitting
00:47 his head against an armrest and forcibly, brutally remove him against his will.
00:51 Passenger Tyler Bridges posted a video saying @United @FoxNews @CNN not
00:56 a good way to treat a doctor trying to get to work because they overbooked. This
01:00 passenger posted a video of the ordeal and said, "United overbooked flight 3411
01:04 and decided to force random passengers off the plane. Here's how they did it." One,
01:09 this is horrible to watch and I can't imagine people doing their jobs for
01:12 United or those security guards thinking this is right even though it might be
01:16 part of their job or the rule. Rob Grayson commented, "Imagine this
01:20 happening in a restaurant. Our waiters need to eat so we brought police in to
01:23 remove you from your birthday dinner." The doctor later re-boarded the flight
01:27 bloodied and disoriented muttering this.
01:31 And as you can imagine, this is not making anyone want to fly United or
01:39 support this brand. Richard Doakam says, "Never flying this airline again. Great
01:43 way to treat passengers like they're objects in just another reservation
01:46 number." Silver Petalus adds, "Hey United, I'm thinking your overbooked issue is
01:50 gonna fade away. You may have underbooking issues though. Never flying.
01:53 #UnitedAirlines ever." And to make things worse, the story continues. In an
01:59 interview conducted by Washington Post with passenger Tyler Bridges, he says, "The
02:03 airline eventually cleared everyone from the plane and did not let them back on
02:06 until the man was removed a second time in a stretcher." I mean, how could anyone
02:11 who's employed by this airline or who was there think this is right? And you
02:16 can see everyone shooting every moment of this and just uploading it right away.
02:21 Of course it's gonna go viral. Of course someone's gonna have to take
02:25 responsibility. Like whoever was part of this, I hope they feel bad. And United has
02:29 released a statement in response to all of this from the CEO saying, "This is an
02:33 upsetting event to all of us here at United. I apologize for having to
02:36 reaccommodate these customers. Our team is moving with a sense of urgency to
02:41 work with the authorities and conduct our own detailed review of what happened. We
02:44 are also reaching out to this passenger to talk directly to him and further
02:47 address and resolve this situation." Not sure there's that much you could do. I
02:51 mean, giving him like a lifetime supply of flights on United, I don't think he's
02:54 ever gonna want to fly United again. He's gonna be suing your ass. So what would
02:58 you have done if you were in this situation? And are you ever going to fly
03:01 United again? Let us know in the COMMENTS below. For more stories, go to
