00:00 Netflix surprised fans with the trailer for Stranger Things season 2 during
00:03 last night's Super Bowl, and it's making us go!
00:07 True dat, Winona, true dat. The upcoming season is due to hit Netflix in October.
00:13 Halloween! Yeah, we're already promoting stuff for Halloween. I'm just trying to
00:16 get through my day. So here's what we know. Some new cast members have been
00:20 leaked. We've got Mad About You alum Paul Reiser, who'll join the cast as Dr. Owens,
00:25 part of a cleanup crew tasked with cleaning up the mess of the previous
00:28 season. And Sean Austin of Goonies and Lord of the Rings, who plays a store
00:31 manager and friend to lead characters Joyce and Hopper. There are some details
00:35 in the trailer that's a hint of what's to come, and here are the details of what
00:38 you might have missed. One, they clue into its time period. It's 1984, just one year
00:43 after the events of the first season, which is the same year the movie
00:46 Ghostbusters hit theaters. We've got a picture of the monster, and then
00:49 something seen in the distance which looks to have several limbs or heads,
00:52 which makes us wonder if they're gonna be fighting the Thessala Hydra, not just
00:56 in the game, but in real life. While they only show a slice of the Eggo commercial
01:02 at the beginning of the trailer, if you extend the commercial, we might get
01:06 another clue about the dangers they will face in season 2. It's green and purple
01:10 and has a million legs. I don't know. Me either, but it's crawling up your arm. And speaking of
01:16 Eggos, this commercial obviously hints that Eggo-loving Eleven will be back.
01:20 Not sure what happened to her at the end of last season, but she's a favorite, so
01:24 more to come. And finally, even though it's a really quick flash on screen, we
01:28 can see Will and that he's not out of the woods and he's possibly dealing with
01:32 something sinister and even being tested. And to add to the excitement, Stranger
01:36 Things responded to fans on Twitter saying "A storm is coming in upside down
01:41 text." So did you see any clues in the trailer that we might have missed? Are
01:44 you excited for the new season? Let us know in the comments below. For more
