00:00 James Corden got political during the opening of the Late Late Show Monday by
00:03 speaking up against President Trump's ban on immigration and highlighting the
00:07 luxuries he's afforded for being a white Christian male who also happens to
00:11 be an immigrant from the UK. Corden shares one of the only videos I've seen
00:14 of him in a car silent on his way to LAX. He pulls up to the curb to see a
00:19 couple of protesters protesting the ban. He checks in easily going through
00:23 security and even has time to grab a grilled cheese before his flight. He ends
00:26 the video with a powerful message saying that "freedom of movement should be
00:29 this easy for all legal immigrants, not just the white and Christian ones."
00:33 Comments on these videos seem to be as divisive as this country is right now.
00:37 Yellowflower responds "love is winning." And now there's voice opposing
00:41 sentiments like Mike Thomas who says "we are not living in Teletubby Hill. Many
00:45 many people want to see you and all of us in the West dead in horrific ways and
00:48 want to cleave your head from its spinal column." That's dark. And then there's this
00:53 one from YouTuber Hanafi Hamid who says "as a Muslim I'm heartened to see the
00:57 tremendous support shown by Americans of all faith and race and social position
01:01 in regard to this travel ban. I applaud their bravery in standing up in large
01:04 numbers and in cold weather for what is right and basic human decency." Other
01:08 late-night show hosts found their own way to respond to the ban. Jimmy Fallon
01:11 impersonated Trump and unveiled the huge wheel of decisions. Kimmel created a
01:16 parody called Trump TV. "Meanwhile, President Trump fielded calls of
01:20 congratulation from foreign fans like Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto." And
01:24 Colbert got straight to the point. "Gotta give the guy credit. He can really get a
01:29 lot of stuff undone. From Obamacare to climate change to torture. He's already
01:36 moved the country back to 2004. If this keeps up pretty soon I'm gonna launch
01:40 the Colbert report." So what do you think about Corden's video and how the rest of
01:44 late night is responding? Let us know in the COMMENTS below. For more trends like
