00:00 Yesterday was a very tragic day for America,
00:02 and a lot of people said a lot of stupid things,
00:03 so we're just gonna focus on the good ones.
00:05 The Orlando community quickly came to the support
00:07 of the people who were attacked.
00:08 There's this wonderful image of over 600 people
00:11 in line to give blood at a local blood donation center.
00:14 John Oliver did a special opening of his show last night,
00:16 which was actually very emotional, I felt.
00:18 I mean, he held it together, but there's like
00:20 a barely contained, very palpable feeling of sensitivity
00:23 and emotional disruption and stuff like that,
00:26 and I just think it's really nice.
00:27 And he pulls it around to a really beautiful reminder,
00:29 I think, about this.
00:30 - And it kind of reminds you that that terrorist dipshit
00:34 is vastly outnumbered.
00:36 - A GoFundMe page has been set up to support families
00:38 who were affected by the attack.
00:39 It's already raised over $1.6 million
00:41 in just a few days, that's amazing.
00:43 It was set up by the LGBT group Equality Florida.
00:46 They've also organized some vigils
00:47 and sort of community support activities.
00:49 Landmarks around the world were lit up
00:51 with the colors of the rainbow
00:52 to support the LGBT community.
00:53 They include the Eiffel Tower,
00:56 the spire of the One World Trade Center,
00:58 and the Toronto sign all stood in support of Orlando.
01:02 One of the top trending hashtags on Twitter
01:03 was #OrlandoUnited.
01:05 A lot of great messages were tweeted out,
01:08 such as this one by 2RightLoveOnHerArms.
01:11 Thank you, first responders.
01:12 Thank you, doctors and nurses.
01:13 Thank you, grief counselors.
01:15 Thank you, everyone acting in love.
