00:17 of a file case by the NIA on Monday due to his video threat against the passengers travelling
00:22 on Air India on November 19. Under an official statement from the organisation, Pannu has
00:27 been charged with sections 10, 13, 17, 18, 18B and 20 of the UAPA Act as well as 120B,
00:35 153A and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. As per NIA, Pannu has been inciting hatred between
00:42 the Sikh population and other communities in the nation, thereby fabricating a false
00:46 narrative about the problems that exist in Punjab, particularly concerning the Sikh religion.
00:52 In a video that was made public on 4th of November, Pannu had urged Sikhs to avoid flying
00:56 in Air India aircraft on that day and beyond, stating that doing so would put their lives
01:00 in danger. Citing a possible threat to their lives, Pannu had urged Sikhs to cease flying
01:05 on Air India aircraft on that day and after that specified date. The Indian government
01:10 was also forewarned by him that the International Airport of Delhi (IGI Airport) would remain
01:16 closed on November 19. Nestled in New Delhi, IGI Airport is one of the busiest airports
01:21 in the world. As an unlawful organisation under the UAPA Act, SFJ has already been prohibited
01:27 on July 10 by the Home Ministry. Pannu was classified by the Centre as an individual
01:32 terrorist on 1st of July 2020. Whereas since 2019, when the anti-terror organisation was
01:38 tightening its grip on Pannu, he has been under scrutiny. The terrorist's share of the
01:42 land in Amritsar, Punjab and Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh was seized by NIA in September of
01:46 this year. Whereas in 2021, the NIA Special Court had already issued a non-bailable arrest
01:51 warrant for Pannu. Before this, he was designated as a proclaimed offender.
