00:00Clear group of six, maybe five if you want to pull, you know,
00:06Russell Henley back a little bit here of golfers. The outright
00:10market believes can win this Open Championship. Yeah, it's
00:14you know what it may be the players we've heard some
00:18players who are not a huge fan of this setup and maybe they
00:21should be moved up tees but I'll tell you what from a fan
00:23perspective. This is thrilling stuff. The unpredictability of
00:27the whole thing. The the creativity that it's forced
00:30from a lot of guys this week, you know, both in terms of
00:33shots. They're shaping and also just mentally being able to
00:35grind through conditions that frankly seem unfair at times.
00:39So I think it's been it's really the cream has risen to
00:43the top in the sense that the guys who are the top of the
00:45leaderboard have absolutely earned every bit of that. Now
00:49looking at that board right now. We just had Billy Horschel
00:52drop a shot bogeyed to fall back to five under you and I
00:56were talking to break Scotty Shuffler was making a run
00:59looking like he was going to about to charge up the
01:00leaderboard and he makes a double bogey at the ninth three
01:04puts it from seven feet, which is just kind of a shocker after
01:08birding seven and eight to get to four under and and should
01:10have had him right there two shots off the lead. But the
01:14guys at the top there you got Justin Rose at six under and
01:16then Tristan Lawrence of South African who is just he's won
01:19about four times on the DP World Tour and he is not going
01:21away really proving that he is comfortable with this style
01:24of Lynx golf and then you of course you got Zander at five
01:28under and now Billy Horschel five under so I mean I think
01:30that group and then throw Shane Lowry in there who to his
01:33credit bounce back from yesterday's 77 is 300 through
01:3610 holes today four under for the tournament. So it's going
01:39to be a nice little pack here of guys going to the back nine
01:43and I think the scoring is going to take an uptick because
01:45the wind on the back nine that Southwest wind should help
01:48them score a little bit more than a front nine. It was
01:51pretty brutal for these guys.
01:54Yeah.
