00:12I think Seattle, you lose 22-0, you lost 22-0 for a reason.
00:17And I don't think the Brewers are just going to roll over and say,
00:21all right, we got you good last night.
00:22You're going to be fine here.
00:24I still would look to back the Brewers in this spot at home.

00:30I would say, Joe, that if this was a college or pro football game,
00:34a team that lost 21-0, I'd want to bet on that team that lost 21-0 the next week
00:39because it feels like that steam just builds up and up and up.
00:46It feels like those in football, they take it more seriously.
00:49They've had to sit on that for a week where the team coming in
00:53doesn't really know what to expect.
00:55In baseball, it's just another game.
00:57You know, and I don't see like a fast bounce back of them sitting on this for so long.
01:04I just think that Seattle's not good, Joe.
01:06Like there's just nothing else to say.
01:08They're not a good baseball team.
01:10They haven't been all season long.
01:12They don't hit.
01:13The pitching has not been as good as advertised.
01:18And Milwaukee is untouchable at home, you know, virtually untouchable.
01:22I mean, could they lose tonight?
01:23Sure.
01:24Does a team that lose 22-0 come back and win the next day?
01:26Of course, it happens.
01:27It's sports.
01:28I'm with you.

01:30When it comes to Milwaukee at home, give me them or throw them in a parlay with some other
01:35team.
01:35If the odds are big, I'm not fading that.
01:38But plus one and a half is in play sometimes for them.
01:40Now I'm even scared of that, though, after what I saw yesterday.
01:44Well, and amazingly enough, Greg, that was a one-nothing game in the fifth inning.
01:50And then the absolute wheels fell off for Seattle in a big, big way.
01:56And of course, you know, Julio Rodriguez gets out there with one out, faces juice, catches
02:02a fly ball, and then chucks it into the stands because he thought it was the end of the inning.
02:07And guess what?
02:08Wasn't the end of the inning.
02:10But position player there gave up nine runs in the final couple of innings, which is really
02:15what put it out of reach.
02:17But tonight, I like Dusty May.
02:20I've liked him now for the last couple of months.
02:23I thought he really figured some things out.
02:25He's going to keep the ball in the ballpark.
02:27And this Seattle roster, to you and to me, is not an offense.
02:33We're making fun of Cincinnati can't score.
02:36This offense can't score either.
02:38And that's even a bigger problem, I think, in a game like this, where where is the power
02:44coming from?
02:45Like, who can we trust in this lineup?
02:47I can't trust anybody in Seattle's lineup at all.

02:50I mean, in defense of Seattle, you wouldn't have thought that Raleigh would have dropped
02:54off this much.
02:55And so I do understand from that point of view.
02:57But it does feel like every year, Joe, Seattle's not doing enough.
03:01It feels like that to me.
03:03I mean, a Rose Arena last year, that was nice.
03:05But they just still don't have, you know, relying on your pitching forever is never going
03:11to work, man.
03:12It's not going to work.
03:13You're going to have to slug at some point in this league to win games.
03:18And if anybody was watching the beginning of the show, I look, I got to say the Mets are
03:22the most disappointing team in baseball.
03:23You can't have a $300 million payroll overhaul the team and lose 90 games or close to it.
03:28But Seattle, to me, is second.
03:30Seattle being completely the other way is just hugely disappointing.
03:36More than half the league.
03:38It was so funny.
03:38Heading into today, Greg, 16 teams under 500 with 35 games to go in this season.
03:47Inevitably, some of those teams are going to bounce back next year, at least we hope so,

03:53But you'd have to think we're going to get bounced back from some teams there.
03:58My question is, who's the most likely team to just chalk up a bad season?

04:05Even though they spent the most money?
04:07I mean, what's the organization that you would have faith that could actually turn it around
04:12and next year, they won't even remember what happened this year?

04:24Well, going through it, Baltimore's had their chances and they haven't done it.
04:30I'm not giving up, but I can't have faith.
04:33Reds, no faith.
04:36Royals, no faith.
04:37Seattle, no faith.
04:38Cleveland.
04:40Cleveland for me.
04:41Cleveland would be right back in it again next year.
04:43Interesting.
04:44If they don't make it.
04:45They're four games under.
04:46That's not really that good.
04:47But Cleveland, you know, Detroit would be another one too.
04:50I would think Detroit would bounce back too next year.
