00:00Here is Caleb Williams on the huge victory and great game that he had on Thursday.
00:05We're in a good spot, obviously.
00:07Long season, and we got guys that go down.
00:10We got guys that come back off injuries, all of that.
00:13So, like I said, long season.
00:15Feel good going into this extended period before this next game.
00:19Be able to get ample amount of time to rest, ample amount of time to focus on these next guys
00:25and be able to get exactly where we need to be as a team.
00:31New England played a very good game as well.
00:33Just one key mistake in the game maybe could have been a different outcome
00:36had Drake May not thrown an interception in the end zone to the Bears.
00:40Here's May on that pass.
00:43It definitely was a huge point in the game.
00:45You know, I just, gosh, just, it's those plays, you know, I talk about all the time,
00:50you know, those plays that can swing the game, can impact the game,
00:54and that was definitely one of them right there.
00:56You know, I wish to definitely have that one back in a lot of plays,
00:58but we got to give credit to them.
01:00You know, they had a good plan on a short week, and, you know, they got after us,
01:04and we got, you know, two chances with the ball back to go down and score
01:06and take the lead, and we got to go through our part,
01:10and we just, you know, can't, you know, have, you know, penalties
01:13and me not, you know, operating at, you know, up the high level to kind of move the chains
01:19and keep going, and especially after this field goal, we got a three and out, a bad three and out,
01:23so.
01:25Hey, Joe, it certainly looked like two really good football teams playing on Thursday night.
01:29It was, you know, not quite the, a lot of folks thought it would be a super high-scoring game.
01:34Of course, the field goal late pushed it to the over, but going back to the Bears here for a
01:39minute,
01:39and going back to week one, when a team scores 59 in the NFL, it is very rarely a fluke
01:46like that.
01:47It almost tells you, okay, there could be something brewing here,
01:51and then everything went wrong for the Bears since then, but boy, I got to tell you,
01:55even going back to then and sticking with it now, I think the Bears, Joe,
02:00continue to be a very dangerous, opportunistic team.
02:03If they could ever get this defense fixed toward the end of the season, you know,
02:09the question that I have, I guess, is that when you look at the NFC, and maybe, forget the AFC,
02:13because all it requires is beating the NFC to get to the Super Bowl.
02:17I mean, I don't know, Joe.
02:18It feels like there's maybe one or two teams that I think are ahead of the Bears,
02:23and boy, I could see a path for them.
02:27I really could.
02:28I mean, San Francisco, I mean, who else really scares you in the entire NFC?
02:31I mean, Carolina, they already beat them by 40.
02:33This is a tough team.
02:35I agree.
02:36They are plus 1,500 right now to win the Super Bowl.
02:39I think that's a really intriguing bet, more because you mentioned San Francisco
02:43kind of looking like the team to beat, as it were, in the NFC,
02:46but that team has a lot of age and a lot of wear and tear on it,
02:49and we're only six weeks into the season, and you're already seeing it.
02:51You know, if Mike Evans' Achilles does pop at some point,
02:55that's a really tricky situation there.
02:57Yeah, they got CMC.
02:58They got Kittle still.
02:59It's a great system.
03:00They're a very sound team with Brock Purdy playing out of his mind.
03:05He's playing a great quarterback this year,
03:07but I look at the Bears as being kind of this thing
03:10that's just gathering storm kind of feeling,
03:13and I feel like those are the teams that get hot as the season goes on,
03:16and the teams that get hot when you get into late October, November, December.
03:20Those are the ones that kind of roll.
03:21It's not always the teams that start out hot in September,
03:24and I'm looking at the Bears, and I'm looking at Colson Loveland,
03:27who was a big hold for me over the weeks where Caleb Williams wasn't playing,
03:31and people were losing their minds.
03:32You see Caleb Williams back.
03:33You see how good Colson Loveland is.
03:35Luther Burden, one of the most efficient wide receivers.
03:38If you're looking at, like, the expected fantasy points for Luther Burden,
03:42and in terms of what he's doing in yards per catch,
03:44and all these different metrics that you've got out there for him,
03:46he is in the top 10, and you don't realize it
03:50because he's not always being utilized as much as some of the other
03:54JSNs of the world and some other guys like that,
03:56so just metrically speaking, he is still lined up for a huge second half potentially.
04:00Caleb Williams is playing great football.
04:01Ben Johnson looks like a genius.
04:03This is a big win for them over a good but not great Patriot team.
04:07I'm with you, man.
04:07I look around the NFC, and I feel like the Bears are the gathering storm right now,
04:11and the rest of this conference needs to be very afraid of them.
