00:18It's Garo against Fabrizio.
00:23It is, Rodrigo Garo. Good pen.
00:46Will now be another man who scores in the 90 minutes tonight, Eduardo Sacha.
00:52Rodrigo Minero, man.
00:59Scored a really fine goal in the 90, did Eduardo Sacha.
01:10Against Hugo Sousa, it's Eduardo Sacha who is a fine pen.
01:15Just zips it in the corner. Right in the corner it had to be.
01:19In the shootout.
01:37Next up for Corinthians, Andre Romalo.
01:42Fabrizio has been given a bit of a talking to here.
01:51They go give his try everything, don't they?
01:55They do try everything. He's a big boy, Fabrizio as well.
02:13Andre Romalo steps up and balloons it over the crossbar.
02:22Just leant back, no confidence at all.
02:29I think he's trying to put it in the top corner.
02:32It's a woeful penalty.
02:34Can Bragantino take advantage?
02:44Lucas Benalista has taken a while as the captain.
02:53To place the ball against this backdrop to give Bragantino a 2-1 lead in the shootout.
03:00The captain steps up and scores with aplomb.
03:04It's a good pen. It's a really good pen.
03:24Eyes on the prize.
03:31Red Bull Bragantino leading 2-1 in the shootout.
03:48The penalty is tucked away really well.
03:51Tez Bidou had a really good game.
03:54Had eyes on the goalkeeper but the goalkeeper guessed the right way.
03:57Didn't matter.
04:00Corinthians 2, Red Bull Bragantino 2.
04:11But, Corinthians have taken 3.
04:16Now an opportunity.
04:24Juan Candido, 23-year-old who scores the header.
04:30To take us to this point.
04:31Steps up. It's another great pen.
04:34It's another great pen.
04:36So much pace on it, not to mention accuracy.
04:40Coolest man inside the stadium.
04:42And Corinthians now in big trouble.
05:00Corinthians now with their 4th penalty of the shootout.
05:16Fabrizio with the wobbly legs.
05:19It's a good pen. It's a really good pen.
05:24That was a touch of the old jersey dudek.
05:28Look at the wobbly legs here from the goalkeeper.
05:33It's a really good penalty in the end.
05:35Tucked away by Pedro Henrique.
05:38Play of his experience.
05:48Xhaka Boubas, the Uruguayan.
05:50Xhaka Boubas, the Uruguayan.
05:57Bragantino's 4th pen. Can they make it 4-4?
06:00Boubas steps up and scores.
06:02It's been 4 really good penalties from Bragantino.
06:054 really, really good penalties.
06:20Corinthians.
06:30Got to score now.
06:32Because Bragantino have 4, Corinthians have 3.
06:38And the pressure is on Wesley.
06:40He must score against Fabrizio.
06:45Wesley, the 19-year-old against Fabrizio.
06:51Fabrizio once again with a clap in the hands.
06:56Wesley steps up and zips it underneath the goalkeeper, Fabrizio.
07:05Let's have a look.
07:09Yes, he does.
07:10Always frustrated the goalkeeper.
07:12It's a strange run-up, isn't it?
07:14Not sure it did him any favours.
07:16It's not a great penalty at all.
07:17The goalkeeper should save that.
07:19It's gone the right way.
07:20Goalkeeper should save that.
07:23Nonetheless.
07:25A chance for Bragantino to win it.
07:32A chance for Bragantino.
07:35And Gustavinho to take his place.
07:43Bragantino folklore.
07:45Bragantino folklore.
07:48Gustavinho steps up.
07:51And it's saved!
07:53Corinthians stay alive on the night.
07:56They stay alive in the Sudamericana.
08:00Hugo Sosa.
08:04With a sensational save.
08:08And we go to sudden death.
08:15The penalty party continues.
08:24And I wonder whether Fabrizio will feel as though he should have saved the one prior to that.
08:29And not taken that far.
08:31Now what have we got here?
08:34We go into sudden death.
08:42Gustavo is going to step up now.
08:45For Corinthians Ryan Gustavo with the penalty.
08:48It's a poor one.
08:51He's just ballooned it over the crossbar.
08:55Well.
08:59Bragantino got another chance now.
09:01They've got another chance.
09:03It's an awful penalty, isn't it?
09:12I mean.
09:14You've got to make the goalkeeper make a save.
09:17And now.
09:25Douglas Mendes.
09:27The 20-year-old.
09:30He's going to step up for Bragantino.
09:40Douglas Mendes.
09:42Stuttered run up.
09:44And it's saved.
09:46Hugo Sosa again to the rescue.
09:57Corinthians.
10:01Hang on to their Sudamericana dream.
10:04By their fingernails.
10:11Bragantino can't finish it.
10:15And on and on we go.
10:33Tucked away with ease.
10:37It's a top pen.
10:38It's a top, top pen from Gustavo Uniqui.
10:41And now the pressure is all on Bragantino.
10:58Got to score now.
11:00Got to score.
11:02Tusky, yeah, mate.
11:05The young man, what pressure.
11:06He'll feel as though those before him should have done the job.
11:11Guilleme against Hugo Sosa.
11:16It is Guilleme.
11:18And there's the hero.
11:21Hugo Sosa.
11:23With a night to remember.
11:26And somehow.
11:28Improbably.
11:30Impossibly.
11:32Corinthians find a way.
11:35Into the quarterfinals.
11:37Of the 2024 Copa del Rey Sudamericana.
11:49When you need a hero.
11:51When you need a hero.
11:55That man stood up to be counted.
11:58Hugo Sosa.
12:00With a string of saves in the shootout.
12:04A string of big, big saves.
12:09He points to the heavens.
12:11He points to the heavens to Hugo Sosa.
12:15Defied intervention perhaps.
12:17But strong gloves, no doubt.
12:21Bragantino have the chances to do it.
12:23And they fail to do it.
12:25And Corinthians seize their moment.
12:28And it is they who progress.
12:30Into the last eight of the competition.
12:34The Copa del Rey Sudamericana.
