00:00Jai Hind, I am Deepak Kumar Shukla, Police Chief of Sihore.
00:04From 1st to 11th February, as per the instructions of Madhya Pradesh Government and Chief of Police Bhopal,
00:12a safety campaign is going on in the whole of the state.
00:15This campaign is based on awareness about cyber crimes and how to protect ourselves from them.
00:21In the same way, we are organizing programs in the whole of Sihore district,
00:25raising awareness and trying to reach as many people as possible.
00:29Although these crimes are of different types and varieties,
00:32but I would like to focus on 2-3 issues.
00:35The first issue is our social media platforms, cyberspace,
00:39like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
00:41How to ensure the safety of women and children?
00:44In this, everyone should keep in mind to keep your privacy and safety settings proper.
00:50Your photographs, videographs or any personal information should not fall into the wrong hands,
00:55should not fall into the hands of strangers.
00:58The second important issue in cyberspace is cyber fraud,
01:02or issues related to financial losses.
01:06In this, it is also important that no personal information should be shared with a stranger
01:10on the phone or through video call,
01:12such as bank-related details, ATM, OTP, etc.
01:15Any person who sends you an unknown link or offers,
01:20should not fall into their trap, should not click on the link.
01:22This can save a lot of people.
01:24The third important issue, which is currently facing many cases,
01:28is digital arrest, cyber arrest.
01:31In this, various types of government officials,
01:34who are thugs, contact you, video call you,
01:37and then inform you of the arrest,
01:39cyber arrest,
01:40and then harass you in various ways,
01:43or transfer money in various ways,
01:46hack your accounts.
01:47So, you have to be careful of them too.
01:49No government organization, no government organization does this,
01:51nor is there any law in this regard.
01:53If any such case comes up, disconnect it immediately
01:56and contact the local police,
01:58or contact the Cyber Branch of the Police Department.
02:00So, basically, I wanted to focus on 2-3 issues.
02:04If any such case comes up,
02:06its toll-free number is 1930,
02:08you can contact it and get help.
02:10There is a cyber branch in every district of the Police Department,
02:14where you can complain,
02:15or you can also get help at the local police station.
02:17With this, we are running the campaign,
02:20stay alert, stay safe.
02:21Jai Hind!
