00:17gambling there was a federal law preventing states from legalizing sports gambling
00:23but the supreme court has just struck it down it was a six to three decision the people who voted
00:30against thought the law could be amended or pared down without being entirely repealed but they were
00:35obviously outvoted yeah still no word on what kind of effect this is going to have one recent study
00:40showed that 32 states would be interested in legalizing sports gambling to some degree if
00:47this law was struck down including michigan and massachusetts i believe and they believe that um
00:52it'll be like some states will do it within five years but those states in possibly two years
00:59that's exciting well it's pretty pretty big if michigan brings it yeah is anyone worried is my
01:07question though like are you a lady who's worried about your guy if this is legal that could it lead
01:12to trouble there are a lot of yeah that but you know what that that is one of the reasons we left
